***Disclosure: This is a sponsored post for SheSpeaks/Five Below. As always, all opinions are 100% honest and have not been influenced in any way.*** Recently, we made a trip to Five Below to see if we could find some room decor and t-shirts for Kyle. Of course our younger kids, Sophie and Xander, made out like little bandits, too. You see, Five Below is great for teens and tweens, but they have plenty of fun for younger kids, too! I'm not going to lie....Shopping with teens can be hard. For one, teens are very fickle creatures. One week, they are into one thing, and the next, they have moved on to the next biggest, best trend. It's hard for a busy mom to keep up! My son, Kyle, is almost 16 and in the 10th grade. He is very into fashion, art, and anything that allows him to show his creative side. (Just check out his neon green hair!) Kyle can be really tough to shop for because his tastes vary and are really unique. That's why we always head to our local Cleveland area Five Below. We jokingly call Five Below "The Yes Store". Why? Well for one, Five Below carries a HUGE variety of products that are sure to please any teen or tween. They carry fashion, craft supplies, sporting equipment, books, decor, and other fun novelties. When the kids ask for something at Five Below, we usually say YES because we know we are getting great quality for a low price that won't break the bank. This is because everything at Five Below is $5 and below. Can I get a collective "Hallelujah"? When we arrived, we couldn't wait to browse all of the awesome products. Our Five Below store is pretty large, so their selection is vast. Sophie appreciated the fact that they had "kid-sized" carts. She decided that she was going to push the cart during our trip. Thankfully, the store wasn't crowded, so there wasn't anyone she could plow into. No lawsuits needed here! We decided to take our time and really check out what Five Below has to offer. Their inventory gets updated often, so it's always fun to see what new things we might find. Here is a slideshow showing some of the highlights of our trip. Check out all the wonderful finds we came across at Five Below : We spent well over an hour ooh-ing and ahh-ing all of the cool items at Five Below. We allowed all of the kids to get something, and honestly, they made out like little bandits. Kyle chose a couple of really fun graphic tees, a couple of trash cans for his room and bathroom, a bright blue shower curtain liner, a quartz-crystal necklace, and an HDMI cable that he needed for his electronics. Oh, and batteries. You can't forget the batteries! Sophie grabbed a really cute Glitter Lamp for her room. She absolutely loves the sparkly effects this lamp casts onto her walls. Fear of the dark is now a thing of the past thanks to this neat, retro lamp! Xander fell in love with a Rasta-themed mini-skateboard. Of course we let him grab it, since it was only $5. Maybe we have a budding Tony Hawk on our hands? Time will tell! One of the things I really love about Five Below is that I tend to find things I like, too! I didn't walk away empty-handed. Nope. Mama scored some adorable Yoga pants and "hippie leggings". (At least that's what my kids called them.) I normally don't treat myself, but since these pants were only $5 a pair, there was very little Mommy Guilt involved! Overall, we got a really nice haul, and everything came out to be less than $60 total. Now THAT, my friends, is a budget-friendly shopping trip, if you ask me! So if you have a fashion-savvy teen or tween, definitely check out what Five Below has to offer. With great quality and prices that won't break the bank, I think Five Below might just become YOUR "Yes Store", too!
