Spooky Socially Distanced Halloween Fun with Adventure Force #Partner

Times are weird, man.....They just are. 2020 is a year that no one will soon forget. Mark my words. 

Traditional things like Halloween parties and Trick or Treating with groups of friends are taking the backseat this season to more socially distanced events. Honestly, I'm not even mad, and neither are my kids. Better safe than sorry. The funny part? Sophie and Xander don't even want to go Trick or Treating this year, and said they'd be happy finding some other spooky mischief to get into, as long as we grabbed them some candy on our own. Pretty sure candy is key here, and the activity at hand isn't as important as long as they get their fix. 

Fair enough. 

Because I'm a mom who is all about making memories, I decided that Halloween itself isn't cancelled, even if our activities may be modified to fit the times and current situation. We decided to have an EPIC Dart Blaster Battle at one of the area's spookiest cemeteries. (Yes, we made sure it was okay, and yes, we cleaned up all darts.) 

We grabbed some of our favorite Adventure Force Blasters from Buzz Bee Toys, seen above, and headed to the Graveyard so Pikachu and Plague Doctor Link could duke it out, Wild West style. 

We brought the following blasters with us, just so you know where you can get your own:

Item includes dart blaster, 12 long distance darts and dart belt. Recommended for children 8 years of age and older.

Clash Combat: 
Adventure Force Clash Combat 2 Pack by Buzz Bee Toys lets you enter the battle well-armed or with a friend. The two hand-held blasters come with 16 long distance darts. Just load the dart of your choice into the barrel, pull back on the slide to load power and pull the trigger to launch a dart up to 100 feet. Pulling the trigger also automatically advances the next dart so you’re ready to hit your next target. Recommended for children 8 years of age and older. Item includes 2 dart blasters and 16 long distance darts.

We found a secluded spot among the old Mausoleums at Glen Dale Cemetery, and we had our in costume blaster battle. See pics from our socially distanced Halloween adventure below: 

It was SO MUCH FUN, and the kids didn't even care about changing our plans a bit. They still got to dress up, still get candy, and they got to have their own shoot-out. All the spectators? Well, let's just say no one is going to be spreading disease. After our battle was finished and we recovered all the darts, we had an amazing time exploring the graves and seeing what interesting things we'd come across. 

​Overall, we're having a blast-pun totally intended-with our Adventure Force blasters! Sophie and Xander love playing with them, as do my oldest son and my husband. Playing at the Cemetery, in full costume? Well, this may just become a new Halloween tradition because we had an absolute BLAST....And in the graveyard, no one is there to breathe on us.

And of course, since these products use foam balls/darts, no one will be injured. I wouldn't recommend aiming for anyone's head, though, just to be on the safe side! 

These would be a great way to have socially distant fun, and they'd also make wonderful Holiday gifts this gift giving season!
