***Disclosure: I received samples and information to help facilitate my post. My opinions are 100% honest and have not been influenced in any way.*** Here in my little Ohio town, the vibe lately has been pretty weird. Yes, downtown is decorated beautifully. There are lights and decorated trees and parking meters, and it looks like a Winter Wonderland, straight out of one of those cheesy Hallmark movies. But the feeling....The energy.....Well, 2020 is just different. As everyone knows, this is a holiday season that has been like no other, thanks to a global pandemic. Christmas isn't quite the same, and people are having to find new ways to be festive, and new ways to have fun.....Socially distanced, of course. One way we've been having quality family time while breaking up the monotony of the current situation is by getting out and playing laser tag together. We got these awesome Laser X Revolution Laser Tag Blasters, and we can take them anywhere for an impromptu match of laser tag. The Laser X Revolution Set comes with 2 blasters, and 2 chest pieces that act as a target. The whole concept of the game is to "shoot" your opponent on their target till it turns red and they, for all intents and purposes, "die." Of course it's lasers and not bullets, and no one is being harmed in any way. It's like a more grown up, fancier version of classic tag. Laser X Revolution is like having a laser tag arena in your own backyard! Or in the house....Or at the park....Or if you're daring, downtown or even in a spooky cemetery. This game can be enjoyed anywhere! We went to our beautiful riverfront district, which is all decked out for the Holiday season. It made the perfect setting for a festive match of laser tag. Check out some pics in the slideshow below: Blast opponents up to 300’ away – inside or out, in darkness or bright sunlight. Choose from more than 20 team colors to light up your blaster! (My kids like turquoise and purple best!) Blaster beams go through windows and strategically bounce off walls and mirrors to hit opponents, while quick-slide reload keeps the action going strong . Advanced sensors allow an interactive voice “coach” to offer tips and tricks throughout the game. Overall, we are having an absolute blast incorporating regular games of laser tag into our lives this season. We play games at home and in the yard, but also love taking this set with us for impromptu games all over the area. The kids love the fact that they can choose their colors, and that the set is super simple to use and understand. The sounds and tutoring are fun additions that make this truly feel like an arcade game. The kids are burning off all that excess energy that comes with cabin fever, we're getting out of the house and getting active, and the best part? We can do all of this while masking up and staying socially distanced. Safety is key, but there's still lots of fun to be had, even during these trying times. Our Laser X Revolution has really been a blessing! I can't wait to get more Laser X products, since they all work together for expanded play. If you're looking for fun ways to switch things up or for that perfect holiday gift, definitely check these out. They're so much fun, and an incredible value. Laser X Revolution can be found for around $39.99 at Target stores and online and at getlaserx.com.
