When I lived in VA, I saw a lot of pretty unique, regional Holiday decor. Much of this had to do with the area's thriving crabbing and fishing industries. I remember a neighbor had the coolest Christmas tree in her yard, made entirely of upcycled crab pots! When I asked her about it, she told me someone had gotten it for her while visiting North Carolina, but that she wasn't sure where it was purchased exactly.

So of course, I hopped right on board. I couldn't wait to check out these pre-lit, attractive, weather-proof trees. The fact that they're made from real crab pots? Well, that just ups the cool factor another notch!

We received a 3' tall LIGHTED Crab Pot Tree to check out for ourselves. We received a green wire tree with 200 clear lights. It arrived very quickly, and I was pretty amazed by how compact the tree is when it's not in use. It folds completely flat for easy storage! 

This tree was very easy to set up as well. As you can see, it's all one piece. To set up the tree, simply open it up and secure it with twisty-ties. (These keep it open.) There are also anchors included to make sure it stays firmly in the ground. 

When you've got the tree where you'd like to display it, simply plug it in, and watch it light up with loads of Holiday cheer! Please note: While our tree is green with white lights, there are other color options available to suit your own personal style!

Overall, we're absolutely delighted with our Crab Pot Tree. It's fun, durable, and has tons of character. I love how low-maintenance it is, and my neighbors have even remarked how different and unusual this product it. It's like we brought a taste of the mid-Atlantic region here to Ohio! It's definitely a hit!
