#Partner Our Back to School Picnic with Entenmann's Little Bites #LoveLittleBites GIVEAWAY 9/259/8/2017 ***Disclosure: This post is sponsored by Entenmann's. All opinions are 100% honest and have not been influenced in any way.***
Well, school is back in session here in NE Ohio. My oldest is a Senior in High School, and my younger kids are in 1st and 2nd grades. I'm not entirely how it happened, but my babies are no longer babies. Time to cue a mid-life crisis.
Anyway, Sophie and Xander both learn at home, online, with the K12 program. While their classmates and teachers meet in a virtual setting and their assignments are largely completed online, they DO offer tons of face to face activities where teachers and students get to know each other. Yesterday, we had our annual Back to School Picnic, which was held at one of our local parks in a nearby city. When I asked the kids what they wanted to pack, I was expecting to hear sandwiches and chips, or something...well...lunch-like. Nope. My kiddos wanted some fruit and their Party Cake Entenmann’s® Little Bites®. Normally, I'd ask them to have something more substantial for lunch, but I figured they'd want to have something smaller so they wouldn't miss out on playground time. After all, I could always whip up something more once we returned home.
Entenmann’s® Little Bites® offer more than 10 varieties of scrumptious baked snacks that are ideal for today’s families and their on-the-go needs. There is a flavor for every snacking occasion including Chocolate Chip, Blueberry and Fudge Brownie. (Can we say YUM?!)
Seriously, these mini-muffins are moist, delicious, and packed with flavor. My kids love them, especially paired with fresh fruit like strawberries or a sliced banana.
Offering the great taste kids love and providing the good choice parents want, Entenmann’s® Little Bites®:
o Contain no high fructose corn syrup o Use real ingredients like blueberries, bananas, strawberries and chocolate chips o Are certified Kosher o Most varieties are less than 200 calories per pouch o Contain zero grams of trans fat per serving
We absolutely love our Entenmann’s® Little Bites®. They make the perfect on-the-go snack for our field trips and school-related outings. My kids' favorite flavor? Probably the Party Cake and the Banana!
These are perfect to grab and go, anytime! We can easily grab the box and bring them out onto our deck. Or, I can grab a couple of pouches and throw them into my purse or handbag while running errands. Gotta love the convenience, and as always, Entenmann’s® Little Bites® are sinfully delish as well, without the guilt, thanks to the 200 calorie portioned packs! I think it's a good idea to be consistent with afternoon and bedtime routines. My kids have a hard time once we start adding after school activities like soccer practice or Girl Scouts.

Try to prepare as much as possible the night before. We lay clothes out, get book bags ready, and prep our activity bag for whatever sport that kiddo is headed to after school. I would say lunches too, but I've never been one to pack it and leave it, it's just as easy for me in the AM.
