***Disclosure: I received complimentary samples to facilitate my post. All opinions are 100% honest and have not been influenced in any way.*** There's been all kinds of talk lately about Easter entertaining, egg hunts, and of course, Easter CANDY. Lots and lots of candy. I'd be lying if I said I don't allow my kiddos to indulge in sweet treats on Easter. They don't eat candy on a very regular basis to begin with, so I tend to spoil them on holidays like Easter and Halloween, and allow a bit more sugar than I normally would. However, while we do participate in traditional Easter activities that involve candy and treats, I also try to balance things out a bit with non-candy gifts that my kids can enjoy even after their candy haul is long gone. One gift we will be giving this year are soft, comfy plush blankets from The Northwest. And let's be real here: Everyone LOVES a nice, soft blanket! Choose from your child’s favorite Disney, Star Wars, Marvel or even their favorite MLB, NFL or NBA sports teams! Whether you are looking for a comfy throw to snuggle your superhero in or blankets for the Frozen obsessed, The Northwest has got you covered. We received a couple of character throw blankets from The Northwest to check out for ourselves. They arrived quickly, and I was immediately impressed both by the softness of these throws as well as the fun, vibrant colors. They're definitely gorgeous, and will fit well into your child's decor. Sophie chose the Frozen "Winter Bunch" Micro Raschel Throw. This came as no real surprise, since pretty much every child in the world is obsessed with Frozen. My kiddos are no exception! Xander's choice was equally predictable. He decided on the Marvel “We Fight” Micro Raschel Throw. This cool blanket features The Avengers in their fiercest poses, and is sure to delight any fan. As you can probably tell from the pictures, these throws are generously sized and perfect for kids of all ages. These throws are 46”x 60” with decorative binding around the edges. They are made from 100% Polyester, and are machine washable. The only problem with our throw blankets from The Northwest? Well, they may just be too cozy...too soft...too irresistible. I tried hiding them away so I could give them to the kids on Easter Sunday, but Xander, my 5 year old, had other ideas. He found his blanket early somehow, and I found him curled up on the couch, snoozing away while wrapped in absolute softness. You win some, you lose some, I suppose! Overall, we're definitely loving what The Northwest has to offer. With such a HUGE variety of styles, there's something for everyone. Sports fans? Movie buffs? Cartoon fans? Military members and supporters? Well, there's definitely something for all of these folks and more. I'd definitely recommend checking out their offerings and grabbing some wonderful gifts. Not only is Easter coming up, but so are Mother's Day and Father's Day. Blankets from The Northwest make fantastic gifts, no matter what the occasion!
