Now that Halloween is right around the corner, many thoughts are focused on getting the best sweet treats for our families. This is one of the few times a year I let my kids go cuckoo for sweets. I do try to supplement, or balance, the consumption of processed sweets with healthier alternatives, like the Manuka Honey products from PRI.
Pacific Resources International has been delivering Manuka Honey beauty and health products to Americans for over 25 years. (This includes candy and treats!) Manuka is the gold standard for honey and is produced exclusively in New Zealand from bees and flowers that are environmentally protected. Enjoy these safe and soothing products every day and feel great using them! I am a HUGE fan of PRI, and of Manuka Honey in general. Domestic honey has been in the news lately, and not for very good reasons. Thankfully, I don't have to worry about my Manuka Honey, since it comes directly from beautiful New Zealand, and is completely pure and clean. Recently, I was sent a fabulous assortment of PRI products that will help me keep the kids' sweet tooths satisfied, naturally! I would love to tell you a bit about each of these products, so keep reading for more info.
Manuka Honey Strawberry Everyday Wellness Throat Soothing Lollipops and Manuka Honey PRI Propolis Lemon & Honey Lozenges both offer the soothing properties of Manuka Honey.
The Strawberry Lollipops are perfect for children who may not like the idea of cough syrup or lozenges. They are kid-friendly mainly because they're on a stick. Let's face it: Kids like things on sticks. These are not only delicious, they will also help soothe sore throats and help to promote a healthy immune system. PRI's Manuka Honey Chocolate Collection is fabulous, too! These rich, creamy chocolates have the wonderful flavor of Manuka Honey, along with a touch of either Peppermint or Ginger. They're definitely a unique treat the whole family will enjoy! They're made by wrapping dark chocolate around the finest New Zealand Manuka Honey tested 5+. PRI’s Manuka Honey Dark Chocolate with Ginger or Mint contain only 3 Ingredients: Pure Manuka Honey, Dark Chocolate-99% Cocoa, and Ginger or Peppermint. They are All Natural, Gluten Free, Dairy Free and Kosher with no use of artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Best of all they are produced right here in the USA. Mossops Manuka Honey Blend 5+ 1/2 lb. Jar Pacific Resources sources honey directly from New Zealand beekeepers, who take pride in producing high-quality products. Our Manuka honey is collected with care from native Manuka trees in New Zealand's remote, pollution-free forests to produce the highest quality Manuka honey. Special techniques have been used to ensure that this Manuka Honey reaches you in optimum condition, just as nature intended. . Mossop's Honey New Zealand is a family business that has been producing and packaging top quality honeys for over 60 years. Certified Kosher. Manuka Honey Sticks: A sweet way for healthy energy and to boost the immune system. Manuka honey is known as the healing honey and is used worldwide for its special properties only found in Manuka honey. Safe for children of all ages. Local Honey Sticks: Sunny Bee Honey Sticks - the nutritional alternative to candy. Flavors included: Lime, Sour Raspberry, Sour Lemon, Mango, Cinnamon, Sour Cherry, Strawberry, Peach, Sour Apple, and Sour Orange.
The Classic Salted Manuka Honey Caramels are a delicious treat. I am already a fan of caramels in general, and the addition of pure, Manuka Honey makes these extra special. I've hidden these babies from the children, since I just can't bear to share them. They're that good!
PRI’s Manuka Honey Nuggets are the perfect everyday treat made with Manuka Honey 5+. They come in three fantastic flavors; Manuka Honey, Lemon & Honey and Ginger. Great for sweet tooth cravings, sporting events, dry and tired throats or even to sweeten your favorite hot beverage! Organic, gluten free, no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Proper Crisps knows you deserve real food. You shouldn’t have to settle for over-processed, artificially flavored potato chips, you're worthy of crisps without compromise! And that’s exactly what they deliver at Proper Crisps. There’s a reason they're the fastest growing snack company in New Zealand. Flavors: Rosemary & Thyme, Smoked Paprika, Sea Salt, Apple Cider Vinegar, and Kumara. No plans for Halloween. I am having a house warming party in November and we are going to the Renaissance Festival Sunday. Other than that the future is unknown. I might host Thanksgiving at my house as well
