With 2018 rapidly approaching, a lot of us are making New Year's Resolutions. Some want to get fit....Some want to achieve goals like buying a home or landing their dream job.
For me, my goals this year are a lot simpler. I just want to look and feel my best, as well as finally learn how to pamper myself, as this is something that has been seriously lacking in my life. After The Doctors TV Show gave me my miracle makeover, I am finally feeling confident, for the first time...Well....Ever, really. In 2018, I will be focused on learning how to shine rather than trying to be as invisible as possible. One easy way to step up my beauty game is to finally do something with my hair. I recently colored it purple, which was a huge risk but a success as well, and I am finally learning how to style beyond the sloppy ponytail or messy bun. Those looks aren't too glamorous, and definitely don't scream confidence. Thankfully, I recently learned about Lilla Rose Flexi Clips. Jamie Helton, one of Lilla Rose's prized consultants, was generous enough to send me some fabulous hair accessories that would promise to take me from drab to fab in seconds.
I received 3 different sizes of Flexi Clips in the most popular sizes (Extra Small, Small, and Medium) to check out for myself!
They can be used to create many different hairstyles including the classic ponytail, half up and french twist. They come in so many gorgeous styles, all as unique as the pretty lady wearing them! There's literally something for everyone with Lilla Rose. There are styling videos on Jamie's Lilla Rose website that can help guide you, but if you need any assistance at all Jamie is always happy to help. I also received a beautiful Lilla Rose hairband with removable band. These are fully adjustable and can even double as a necklace. How cool is that?!
Here you see a couple of super simple Flexi looks. The one on the left is a half-updo, and on the right? Well, I was in a mad rush and pulled my hair into a slightly deconstructed twist. (Slightly deconstructed=Hot mess, by the way.)
Surprisingly, even with pretty much NO effort, these styles were effortless to achieve. The Flexis also have incredible holding power, while remaining gentle to the hair. They're actually very comfortable, even more so than traditional ponytail holders!
The headband, as gorgeous as it is, was honestly a little intimidating to me. I hadn't worn one since childhood, and wasn't really sure what to do with it. I tried a couple different looks, both of which I adore. On the left, you have my Hippy-Chic look, and on the right, it's being used in a more traditional way. The headband is fully adjustable, and is also very comfortable to wear. I was surprised how well it stays in place, as I was honestly expecting it to slip as the day wore on. This wasn't a problem at all, much to my delight!
Overall, I am absolutely in la-la-LOVE with my Lilla Rose hair accessories, and I want to extend a sincere thanks to Jamie Helton for asking me to try them out. I'm definitely going to be a new customer, and can't wait to add to my collection and experiment with more styles as we head into 2018! How to Connect with Lilla Rose by Jamie Helton :

I take my family to a friend's party that is kid friendly. This year we are roasting marshmellows, hot dogs and there will be a bounce house. We are so excited.
