If you know me in real life, you likely know that my hair stands out. I get tons of compliments on my purple locks, and my kids can always spot me should we get separated in a crowd. Playing with color is fun, and purple honestly suits me quite well.
In order to keep my hair in top condition, I rely on high quality, nourishing hair care products. Good shampoo, conditioner, and styling products truly do make a difference in the overall look and feel of the hair. If you, too, love your hair feeling soft, supple, and looking bright and vibrant, I have the perfect solution from the folks at Luseta.
Luseta offers salon inspired products made only from non-toxic, natural ingredients. They have several great lines of product, and cater to all hair types. Recently, I was sent the Luseta Color Brightening Purple Shampoo and Conditioner Set for Blonde and Gray Hair to check out for myself. Of course my hair is purple and not gray or blonde, but hey....Purple shampoo MUST work with purple hair, right?
About the product
I have mixed thoughts about this product. First, let me say that it absolutely left my hair feeling soft, nourished, and healthy. My purple? It's nice and bright, and I truly think this set will help preserve my color.
The downside? I'm really not wild about the scent. It's got kind of a musky, masculine scent that is tolerable, but not as feminine as what I'd usually choose for myself. This certainly isn't a deal breaker, and I would still use this set, but I wanted to be completely honest.
Overall, I am definitely impressed with Luseta, and can't wait to order more of their product line to see how other lines compare.
If you've got blonde or gray hair and are looking for a great brightening set of shampoo and conditioner, this might be the perfect product for you!
