It's that time of year, everyone! The Holiday shopping season is upon us! (At least it is if you're like me and get an early start to avoid the mad rush of frazzled, last-minute shoppers in December!)
For the 2016 Holiday season, I will be featuring tons of great gift ideas for babies, kids, men, women, pets, and even for the person who has everything. We all have some of those on our gift lists, don't we? There will even be loads and loads of chances to win many of the gifts I am featuring. How cool is that?! You can check out my 2016 Holiday Gift Guide at any time from now till Christmas. Make sure to check often, as it will be growing by the day! Today, I want to talk about something that's sure to delight any thrill-ride enthusiasts OR budding designers in your life. K'NEX offers a wide assortment of building sets, including the oh-so-awesome Clock Work Roller Coasterbuilding Set!
Tick, Tock goes the coaster car on the Clock Work Roller Coaster Building Set, from K'NEX. The hour hand inspired, motorized coaster car lift sends the coaster car up the track and down a ride full of twists and turns. This set comes with 305 parts, primarily rods and connectors, to build a K'NEX thrill ride! And if you collect the Infinite Journey Roller Coaster Building Set and the Revolution Ferris Wheel building Set (sold separately), you can have a working amusement park right in your home! Recommended for builders ages 7+.
My kids had an absolute blast building this coaster. It took them a couple of hours, with a bit of help from their Daddy. The instructions were easy to follow, and my kids were able to learn a lot of STEM skills as they helped create this massive thrill ride. Once the coaster was complete, it was time to turn it on and watch it go! The car zips up the hill, with the help of the clock work mechanism, and then zips along the track, heading through loops and turns. My kids cheered with delight when they saw their very own creation come to life! Overall, we're absolutely delighted with our K'NEX Clock Work Roller Coasterbuilding Set. My kids have played with the design a bit, and love the fact that they can use this set with other K'NEX building sets to make all new, custom builds. This would be a great gift for builders of all ages, as well as for those who are craving amusement park thrill rides, even in the colder months. Be sure to check it out next time you visit the K'NEX website, or a toy store near you! Connect with K'NEX :
You can find this and other K'NEX products at Toys R Us, as well as on the K'NEX website and on Amazon
You can also follow them on Facebook, on twitter, and on Pinterest to stay on top of their latest products and promotions! Enter to WIN :
I am thrilled to announce that one lucky reader will receive a K'NEX Clock Work Roller Coasterbuilding Set of their own!
How cool is that?!
