Now that a new year is upon us, many people are busy coming up with New Year's resolutions. Maybe you want to get fit and lose that excess "Holiday Weight". Perhaps you want to give up pop and drink more water. Maybe, you just want to swap unhealthy habits for better ones.
Food, for example, is a great place to start! Sure, convenience foods are simple, but all too often, they aren't very nutritious. Eating a well-balanced diet is essential for overall wellness, and making sure you get enough fruits and veggies is a wonderful way to promote better health for 2016! My only real issue with keeping the house well-stocked with fresh produce? It tends to spoil in a matter of days. This can create wasted food AND wasted money, right down the drain. Or to the composter, actually. Sometimes it seems I get a less-than-fresh batch of produce, and it starts to turn in just a few days. Often, we are able to eat it all up in time....But sometimes, I end up throwing away the food I just purchased because it's getting a bit funky. This is just one of those annoying facts of life, right? I'm sure everyone who goes grocery shopping for fresh foods can totally relate. Don't you just hate going to fix a salad and finding lettuce that has begun to wilt?
There HAS to be a better solution....Right? Well, there is!
Introducing, BerryBreeze: A compact device that filters and cleans the air in your fridge. BerryBreeze is scientifically proven to... --Put an end to the premature aging of fruits, veggies, and meats --Naturally kill odors --Naturally kill molds, yeasts and fungi known to spoil foods --Neutralize bacteria and other harmful microbes --Keep us healthier by maintaining food's freshness and nutritional value --Save an estimated $2,200 per year per household by avoiding spoilage of food in the fridge. ("National Resources Defense Council" August 2012)
Unlike products claiming similar benefits, BerryBreeze is a chemical-free, filter-free, and absorption pack-free solution. BerryBreeze's patented time release of oxygen neutralizes bacteria and mold, eliminates pollutants, and keeps foods fresh for up to ten days longer.
Simply set the BerryBreeze on the top shelf of your refrigerator to start enjoying a fresh fridge and longer lasting foods instantly. Amazing, right!? The Berry Breeze uses “activated oxygen” (O3) technology, which eliminates bacteria and fungus in your fridge, as well as the nasty odors that tend to come with them. Here's more info about this technology, as found on the BerryBreeze website: “O3 breaks down complex molecular structures to their safe original elements. It oxidizes many organic and synthetic compounds, detergents, herbicides, and pesticides. It also oxidizes inorganics such as iron, manganese, heavy metals, cyanide, sulfides, and nitrites in water. By destroying ethylene gas, it slows down the decay process, destroying the odor produced by decay. It is also the most effective natural bactericide of all the readily-available disinfectant agents.”
But does it work?
Yes! I placed our BerryBreeze on the top shelf of the fridge one evening, and by the next morning, I could smell the difference. No, my fridge wasn't horrifyingly stinky or anything, but there was the smell of leftover chili I had stored. In the morning, I couldn't smell anything. I guess no smell is good, right? Also, I have noticed that our fresh produce has been consistently lasting about a week longer than it usually would. This saves us a lot of money, since we never need to toss unused food anymore because it had spoiled! Overall, I am definitely very pleased with our BerryBreeze. Not only does it keep our fridge smelling nice and clean, it also helps our foods last longer, actually giving us time to eat them! If you haven't checked out the BerryBreeze difference, I would highly recommend doing so. It truly does pay for itself in a very short amount of time! Connect With BerryBreeze :

I've been wanting to try this. My husband buys vegetables and puts them in the bin. About once a month, I go through and find nasty bags of what used to be some kind of vegetable. It's gross.

It's nice to see that many people don't follow the ritual of making resolutions. Everything is so predictable. It seems like every year, people follow the media and what's expected of us. It's halloween, candy, thanksgiving, pumpkin, x-mas, peppermint. Sorry, I'm in a bit of a snit.

This is good not only because it keeps food fresh longer, it keeps odors down. I can't stand the smell of onion. When there is one cut I wrap it in three bags but the odor still lingers. It even makes my water taste like onion.
