***Disclosure: I’m a Smiley360 blogger and will be receiving Pepto-Bismol product samples to facilitate my honest review and share information with my readers.*** Thanksgiving is only a couple days away! Does everyone have their turkeys ready, pies made, and guest-lists finalized?
We aren't cooking at home this year. We will be heading to my Aunt and Uncle's house with much of our extended family, and I know there will be loads and loads of delicious foods to enjoy. (I'm in charge of making mashed potatoes for 30 people. Wish me luck!) The only gripe I have about Holiday feasts are what they tend to do to my poor tummy after the fact. Gas, bloating, indigestion, heartburn....It's enough to put me out of commission for a day or so afterwards. I have a sensitive stomach to begin with, and Holiday meals always seem to leave me feeling less than 100% afterwards. I went searching some of my favorite blogs to look for tips on how to avoid this problem. I want to be able to have my cake and eat it too, so to speak. I found this great article on About A Mom on How to Survive Holiday Overindulgence. I love the idea of assembling a Holiday SOS Kit including things like stain remover, pain reliever, and of course, a bottle of Pepto-Bismol to help with those tummy problems we all know and love.
