The Holiday shopping season is upon us! (At least it is if you're like me and get an early start to avoid the mad rush of frazzled, last-minute shoppers in December!) For the 2017 Holiday season, I will be featuring tons of great gift ideas for babies, kids, men, women, pets, and even for the person who has everything. We all have some of those on our gift lists, don't we? There will even be loads and loads of chances to win many of the gifts I am featuring. How cool is that?! You can check out my 2017 Holiday Gift Guide at any time from now till Christmas. Make sure to check often, as it will be growing by the day! Today, I want to talk about TOYS! Yep. Toys are the one thing that seems to be on everyone's shopping list, and Little Tikes has some absolutely incredible gift ideas for children of all ages. They offer the best toys for boys and girls, and even some fun, family games that can help you to connect with loved ones and enjoy the spirit of the season. I'd love to share a few gift ideas that are absolutely perfect for families, and allow you to include kids as young as preschool-aged. Little Tikes Games are the fun and unique way to get preschoolers memorizing, matching and moving, inspiring both active and imaginative play! Little Tikes Farm Memory Match-Up: Age 3+, MSRP: $12.99 The perfect memory game for you and a friend! Separate the farm animals and put each half under a haystack and shuffle them around. Whoever matches the most animals wins! Product Features:
OUR THOUGHTS : Yes, this game looks like it's for very young children. It's great for preschool kids, but even elementary aged kids like mine, too. Sophie and Xander are about to turn 8 and 7 respectively, and they had a blast with this game. They thought it was a lot of fun having to both memorize and match, which gives this a unique and more challenging spin. Little Tikes Crazy Toaster: Age 4+, MSRP: $14.99 Breakfast is served! Each player takes a pan and once all the toast cards are placed into the toaster, the first player pushes the toaster’s nose down to start the timer for the first round. Players use their pan to catch the flying toast and try to make matches. Only pieces caught in the pan are good, the rest go back into the toaster for the next round. The game ends when the toaster is empty and the player with the most matching pieces wins! Product Features:
OUR THOUGHTS : This is definitely the kids' favorite. They loved the Crazy Toaster because it has a lot of suspense, and it's actually very challenging catching ingredients in the pans. We all laughed and cheered every time the kids got another piece to match. This is a really cute idea, and a great way to keep kids stimulated and engaged on a cold winter day! Little Tikes Crazy Blender: Age: 5+, MSRP: $14.99 The hilarious Crazy Blender game lets players test their luck as each fruit card is put into the blender! Players take turns feeding the blender matching fruit cards. The blender will randomly spit cards back out, the game ends when a player has no more cards! Product Features:
OUR THOUGHTS : This is fairly similar to the Crazy Toaster Game, as it requires matching and memorizing skills. This blender is pretty cool because it "blends" the fruit playing cards and puts on quite a show that my kids definitely appreciated. This is another way to help kids' memories stay sharp and improve concentration and matching skills. Little Tikes Hot Hoops: Age 5+, MSRP: $24.99 Practice your shot with this fast-paced game of one-on-one basketball. Whoever hits the most threes wins! Product Features:
OUR THOUGHTS : My daughter, Sophie, is pretty obsessed with this one. She said it reminds her of a mini version of a basketball game at one of our local family fun centers. This is fast paced, fun, and sure to spark the competitive spirit. Check out the slideshow below for some photos of Sophie and Xander playing these great games. Sure, my kiddos are a little beyond preschool, but they still had a blast with these awesome games from Little Tikes! If you have younger kids on your Holiday gift lists this season, I definitely recommend checking out these great offerings from Little Tikes. They're fun, affordable, and a wonderful way to improve crucial skills like memory, concentration, and critical thinking, all while staying active, too! Little Tikes for the SCORE!
