We all have some of those on our gift lists, don't we? There will even be loads and loads of chances to win many of the gifts I am featuring. How cool is that?! You can check out my 2018 Holiday Gift Guide at any time from now till Christmas. Make sure to check often, as it will be growing by the day! Today, I want to talk about gaming! I mean, every household has at least one gamer, am I right? My home happens to have several of different genders, ages, and gaming preferences. Today, I'll be sharing a game that we all enjoy! Starlink: Battle for Atlas is an open-world space saga that features modular toy technology that allows players to assemble and customize real-world physical starships, link the starships to their game controller, and launch into an epic adventure across the Atlas star system, either in single player or with a friend in two-player split-screen local co-op. Each modular component and pilot attached to the starship appears instantly in-game, allowing players to directly affect the course of their battle in a meaningful way. We received a Starlink: Battle for Atlas Starter Kit, Weapons Kit, Pilot Kit, and other goodies to check out for ourselves. Since we have an XBOX ONE, we headed to Sophie's room to set everything up and check out the game. (She's got the XBOX ONE, so it just made sense.) This game was SUPER simple to set up, and we were playing within minutes. We really enjoyed the easy, yet intense and adventurous game play. The graphics are crisp, realistic, and vibrant, and all of the characters and space elements truly do take you into another world while you play. The kids were absolutely in love with the fact that they could literally bring the game to life with special Starships, Pilots, and Weapons. These elements synced perfectly with the game, making each experience unique and customizable. Of course they also love the story, and never turn down a chance to have intergalactic space battles! This was great fun for all of us, young and old alike. With such a variety in age here, we often don't find games that everyone agrees on. Starlink: Battle for Atlas is one of those rare finds. Definitely head to your local Best Buy to check it out! Buy It Today at Best Buy:Starlink: Battle for Atlas is available on Nintendo Switch, the PlayStation®4 and Xbox One.
