***Disclosure: I received complimentary samples to facilitate my post. All opinions are 100% honest and have not been influenced in any way.*** Did you know that 1 in 3 kids in the United States is either overweight or obese? This is due to a lot of different factors, such as lack of physical activity in an increasingly digital age, and of course, diets that leave a lot to be desired. Vegy Vida is the newest product to market offering a solution to the issue of unhealthy eating. The first and only dip made especially for kids, Vegy Vida contains a proprietary all-natural cucumber extract that softens the flavor of veggies for kids, who have three times the taste buds of adults and therefore are more sensitive to vegetables and other foods. Yes, you read that right: Vegy Vida helps to train kids' sensitive taste buds to develop a liking for the dreaded vegetables. Or not so dreaded. My kids actually love their vegetables, but I know plenty of kids who do not. I used to be one of them, about a million years ago when we rode dinosaurs to school and took notes on a stone tablet. Anyway. Vegy Vida is made in five delicious, kid-friendly flavors: Creamy Ranch, Cheesy Cheddar, Zesty Southwest, Savory Bacon and Cool Buffalo. I recently got the opportunity to check them out with my littles, and I cannot wait to tell you all how it went! Like I said, my kids are not too difficult when it comes to eating their veggies. This is largely because they've been a regular, constant addition to their diets for basically their whole lives. Want a snack? Cool. How bout some fresh veggies and dip? Oh, it needs to be to go? Let me grab you a Bento Box full of crisp veggies and I'll put the dip in a little cup. Dinner? Of course! Along with a heaping helping of veggie goodness. Want seconds? Okay! No problem! Here are some seconds on your veggies as well. So far, this tactic has worked with with basically no complaints. The only things they really gripe about are the inclusion of mushrooms and olives, which are apparently the devil. We've been loving our Vegy Vida dips, though, and have been finding some pretty fun and interesting ways to serve it. As you can see here, I have a nice platter full of little tomatoes, some baby carrots, assorted sweet peppers, and even some zucchini. In the center of the platter, I have some Vegy Vida Savory Bacon Dip. Guys, I have to admit, I was skeptical when I saw a bacon dip. I didn't think it would actually have much bacon flavor, because a lot of dips and dressings don't. I couldn't have been more wrong. The Vegy Vida Savory Bacon Dip was incredibly bacony. My kids absolutely LOVED it. We've also enjoyed checking out the other flavors, even if the Bacon was the star of the show. The Ranch and Cheddar were great on potatoes and in sauces, and we loved the Southwest and Buffalo dips on wraps and as dips for nuggets, etc. Overall, we're definitely loving Vegy Vida Dips for Kids, and are definitely planning on purchasing more once we run out. These dips are flavorful, nutritious, and a great way to incorporate a love of veggies into your kids' diets...Even if they're not already fans like mine are. Connect with Vegy Vida :Vegy Vida is available in mass and specialty grocers such as Wal-Mart, Fresh Thyme, Meijer, Albertson’s, Safeway, and Marc’s.
Each bottle is available for a suggested retail of $3.59 To find Vegy Vida at a store near you, check out their handy retail locator. Also be sure to join the conversation on social media by following Vegy Vida on Facebook, on twitter, on Pinterest, and on Instagram.

I should try this. I'm not a veggie lover. But, due to radiation treatments, I need to eat a healthy diet.
