***Disclosure:As a LeapFrog Mom Ambassador, I receive products, promotional items, and educational material to use and share as I see fit. However, any opinions expressed by me are honest and reflect my actual experience.***
As a LeapFrog Mom, I know that learning doesn't have to be a bore. The days of kids groaning loudly because their parents want them to do something (gasp) educational are long gone. That's because the folks at LeapFrog understand that children learn new skills most effectively when they're entertained and engaged. Learning can be fun, and LeapFrog has mastered the art of fun.
Recently, I was introduced to a few new LeapFrog products that would make wonderful gifts this Holiday season. Or today. Why wait? I'm totally guilty of doing special things for the kiddos, just because. Any day is a great day to encourage learning, after all!
The first product I want to share is the Number Lovin' Oven. This toy is bound to thrill your budding chefs, and they might just learn a little math while they create mouthwatering dishes like pizza, cupcakes, and even a fried egg. (I don't like eggs, myself, but the kids do!)
The Number Lovin' Oven comes equipped with 30+ songs that help with things like number recognition, simple fractions, and how to cook things at the proper time and temperature. While your kids are whipping up a feast, they are also learning essential math skills. Trust me. They won't even notice that they are learning!
Sophie and Xander both flocked to this fun, culinary toy, and they have had an absolute blast cooking up some awfully smart creations in their Number Lovin' Oven. This toy keeps them laughing and engaged, but more importantly, it keeps their budding math skills sharp.
The next toy I'd like to share is Scout's Build & Discover Tool Set. My husband is a "Car Guy", so the kids are used to seeing tools around the house and garage. Imagine their excitement when they received their very own tools from LeapFrog!
Scout's Build & Discover Tool set is pretty cool because kids can practice color matching, counting, and measuring skills. This "house" can be taken apart and put back together using color-coded bolts. The color of the bolt coordinates with the color of the proper tool, so kids won't end up frustrated. It's a great way for younger kids to not only learn basic mathematical skills, it also helps hone fine motor skills!
Last, but certainly not least, there's the LeapFrog Epic. This awesome new tablet takes learning to a whole new level. Like other LeapFrog learning tablets, the Epic is full of kid-friendly apps and content. Of course you can always get more content from the LeapFrog App Zone.
The Epic is designed for kids from the ages of 3-9, and it literally grows with your child. Have a few kids at different ages and stages? No worries! The LeapFrog Epic allows for 3 different profiles to be created. Each profile is fully customizable to each child's needs, right down to the homescreen that THEY get to design. The homescreen even detects whether it's day or night, and displays accordingly. Pretty cool, right?
Sophie and Xander both declare that the LeapFrog Epic is the BEST TABLET EVER! (And that's saying a lot, coming from my tech-savvy kids!)
They both really enjoy the preinstalled apps, and have had a lot of fun learning over 2600+ new skills. Sophie finds it especially neat that she can check our local weather, in real time.
Aside from the LeapFrog created content, parents can also turn the Epic into a kid-safe internet experience that can help with homeschool, project research, and more! The parental controls enable you to pick and choose what you want your kids to be allowed to view with no worries of anything inappropriate popping up. Your kids can only access the sites YOU choose, and this gives me major peace of mind as a mom!
Here are some quick facts about what makes the Epic...Well...EPIC!
As you can see, Sophie and Xander are absolutely loving these great LeapFrog products. Whether they're baking up something delicious, repairing Scout's house, or playing learning games on the Epic, learning is definitely a welcomed part of the day thanks to LeapFrog.
These would make amazing Holiday gifts for the kiddos in your life, so be sure to check them out!
