![]() I talk all the time about how important it is to choose nutritious, organic foods for babies and toddlers. Actually, for older kids and adults, too! While there are some great organic options available in stores, another great way to have peace of mind when feeding little ones is to make your own homemade baby food. This allows you to have complete control over what goes into your children's bodies, and it offers the freshest, most nutritious food possible. I make a lot of my baby foods right in my own kitchen. I love going to the grocery store or farmers market and choosing ripe, organic fruits and veggies to use in my creations. I also choose organic chicken and beef. This way, I know that my children aren't getting any pesticides, preservatives, or GMO's in their diet. I love experimenting with different combinations to suit my toddlers' ever-expanding palates. Making baby food is easy, especially when you have a Baby Brezza to help you along! (Review of this amazing appliance coming soon!) Speaking of the Baby Brezza, I have some very exciting news to share with you all. They recently came out with their own baby food cookbook! The Baby Brezza Cookbook features 47 Mom-Tested Recipes and a ton of tips to help make preparing your own baby food a breeze. There are recipes for all ages and stages from beginning eaters to toddlerhood. The recipes are so much fun, and are a great way to introduce your children to a wide variety of flavors in the most nutritious manner possible. There are several great photos in the Baby Brezza Cookbook, and the layout is easy to read and understand. This hardcover book is a must-have in any home with infants or small children. I have been experimenting with many of these recipes over the past couple of weeks, and have had great success! Take a look at a couple of these great recipes! Oh wait....What's this? Look closely....That's right! Yours truly has a recipe published in the Baby Brezza Cookbook! This was a shock, to say the least, and quite an honor. I am a self-proclaimed "foodie" and I love to cook. I never in my wildest dreams imagined that my recipe for Baby Broccoli Cordon Bleu would make it into the cookbook, though! When I found out, I did a happy dance and shouted loudly enough to bring my 12 year old running up the stairs to ask what was going on! As you can see, I am pretty darn excited to be included in such an amazing collection of baby food recipes. The Baby Brezza Cookbook is a "baby food Bible", and includes recipes to suit every taste. From mild to downright wild, you'll find delicious concoctions sure to please even the most discriminating taste buds. In this book, there are flavor combinations you may not expect, such as Pear-Banana-Avocado, and all are Mom-Tested and absolutely mouth-wateringly good!

I have, but all I did was bananas so far. Just used a fork and it worked very well! Except the gross color the bananas turn to after just a short period of time. I now have a Baby Bullet steamer and a Ninja to puree, have not used it yet, but super excited to start!

First time making my own baby food was a disaster. I ruined my pan b/c the carrots dried up and my pan burned. Just glad I didn't ruin my house, too!

I've made baby food for years and we love doing it. My first time it was a disaster though where it tasted awful and 20 pots and pans later we perfected it.

With our daughter, we would cook broccoli, squash, carrots etc and then put them through the blender to puree them. It worked very well for us.

With a baby due sometime in the next six weeks, I'm so excited to use my Baby Brezza in a few months. And a cookbook would be super handy!

Our little man is still a month or so away from solids, but we are planning on making all his food from scratch. I own a baby brezza and can't wait to start using it.
