***Disclosure: I received complimentary samples to facilitate my post. All opinions are 100% honest and have not been influenced in any way.*** Do you have a tween or teen in the house? My daughter is about to turn 10, and that's such a funny age. She claims she's too old for toys, but she's not old enough in my opinion for cell phones, social media, or things that are just too mature for her. She likes to dabble in things like make up, which I'm okay with as long as it's subtle, not too much, and done at home. No, she doesn't get to leave the house made up. Still, she likes to experiment and hone the skills that will likely come in handy in a few short years. Anyway, tweens can be tough to shop for. That's why I've decided to share just a few easy, convenient, and affordable stocking stuffers that are absolutely perfect for tweens, teens, and even adults, too! Simply ingenious! The Pocket Palette is a single-use, full face makeup kit for on-the-go! Comes with mascara, lip/cheek color, and bb cream (or foundation). Never have to worry about carrying a bulky make up kit. Each makeup item is perfectly portioned so you can carry a full face of makeup anywhere you go. It is about the size of a Post-It note and is really thin too. We love The Pocket Palette because it's easy, convenient, and the products are a nice quality and very natural looking. These are NOT super bold looks, and are great for those seeking a more understated, natural look. They're also wonderful for teens and tweens who may not be ready for eyeliner, highlight and contour, etc. They're the perfect way to beautify, even on the go, without being bold or dramatic. You can get the Pocket Palette for $11.99 Since my daughter likes a fully put-together look, of course she'd love to have her nails done, too! As a parent, I am always on the lookout for products that are not only high quality, but safe and non-toxic as well. That's why we absolutely adore Piggy Paint. The story behind how Piggy Paint was invented is a good one... Mom Melanie Hurley was painting her daughters’ nails one day over a Styrofoam plate to catch any drips. She noticed the nail polish melted a hole right through the plate! She thought to herself, “Gosh, if it eats through a plate within minutes, then what is it doing to my daughter?!” (You know how kids always put fingers in their mouths!) This “ah-ha” moment inspired her to seek an eco-friendly alternative and when she could not find one, Piggy Paint was born!
Of course you'll need somewhere to store these make up and nail goodies. One of my favorite, reusable solutions are ZizzyBee bags. They're durable, easy to use, washable, and they're even super cute, too! ZizzyBee Reusable Storage and Travel Bags
The ultimate, reusable bag is here just in time for the holidays and winter travel season…use ZizzyBee Bags to save 1000+ ziplock-style plastic bags a year! Reuse em’ Zip em’ Wash em’ Hang em’ See through em’ Love em’ Replace em' (Lifetime Replacement Guarantee - in 7 years only ONE bag has been replaced from thousands of orders - these bags are super strong!) 3-Pack LARGE - $22.95 BONUS - Dirty Laundry Bag (I bring when I travel and great for college students) - breathable and large. $9.99 What do YOUR tweens want in their stocking this year? I'd love to hear your ideas!
