***Disclosure: I received complimentary samples to facilitate this post. All opinions are 100% honest and have not been influenced in any way.*** As a homeschooling family, we're always looking for ways to spark creativity in our kiddos. You see, while reading, writing, and arithmetic are all important things to learn, I truly believe that the arts are what tie everything together. The arts are what allow creativity to flow and allow amazing ideas and inventions to be born. Recently, I received a nice e-mail from a little girl named Sarah Porter. Sarah is the 11 year old CEO of a new brand called Instructions Not Included. (You can find Sarah on Instagram!) Sarah has created a kit filled to the top with over 500 craft supplies. Her kit does not include instructions, which allows the customer to use their creativity and imagination. How cool is that?! Of course I love supporting young entrepreneurs, so I gladly accepted Sarah's offer to send us her kit to check out for ourselves. We received our package quickly, and couldn't wait to get started. These kits are very neat and include a wide variety of art and craft supplies. There were craft sticks, fabric, embellishments and beads, buttons, safety pins, and so much more! Each kit comes in a convenient carrying case so Instructions Not Included is perfect not only for rainy days at home, but also for trips to Grandma's or the babysitter. The possibilities are endless! We set up a tarp, got a hot glue gun ready, and settled in for some art time this past weekend. We recently had an unexpected death in the family, so this was the perfect way to de-stress and relax a little with the kids. Please note: The marshmallows weren't included in the kits, but the kids wanted to use them, too. Since there are no rules and no instructions, we allowed them to use anything they wanted to create their projects. The kids had a blast using their imaginations to create art. Xander made a cute little scene that includes a house, a tree, a smokestack, and there's even a little dog in the yard, which you can't see here. Sophie is a self-proclaimed Nintendo nerd, and she made a fluffy, friendly looking cloud. This, of course, was inspired by many hours of playing Super Mario Bros. games. Overall, we are really impressed with Sarah and her new brand, Instructions Not Included. These kits were tons of fun, and included such a wonderful variety of products which made crafting easy. I'd highly recommend these kits for your kids, grandkids, or even for daycares. With Instructions Not Included, all you need to add is the magic of creativity! Well done, Sarah! You get an A++ from us! How to Connect : You can learn more about Instructions Not Included on their Instagram Page. Get sneak peeks at kits, get inspirations for projects and more!
