During the colder months, my skin tends to suffer. I end up with dry, irritated skin, and I just don't seem to have the level of brightness in my complexion that I'd like.
During the winter, I love extra soothing ingredients like Ceramide, Argan Oil, and Chamomile. (Yes, folks! It's used for more than just tea!) Thankfully, I have a great skin care regimen that offers my skin some added, soothing protection, not only during the winter, but all year long!
One of my favorite products this season? Mad Hippie Eye Cream! Seriously, ladies, this cream is Ah-MAY-zing. I don't say that lightly, either!
Reduce, protect and breathe life back into your skin the powers of Chamomile, Vitamin C and more!
• Chamomile Extract – Provides thin protective shield, while naturally soothing and calming the skin.
• Vitamin K – Vitamin K naturally aids in the healing of varicose veins, age spots, dark circles around the eyes, skin discoloration, sun damage & scarring.
• Pomegranate - Potent antioxidant that is a high source of ellagic acid, a polyphenol that has been shown to inhibit the growth of skin cancer. Believed to also mediate the effects of ultraviolet rays & skin discoloration.
• Vitamin C - Strengthens skin cells, while reducing the effects of free radical oxidation & preventing pigment discoloration. Helps in the synthesis of collagen, while it works to protect skin against the sun.
I absolutely love how well Mad Hippie Eye Cream works, too! I have noticed that my eyes seem brighter, and I am looking a lot less tired. (Hey, I have 3 kids. I do not get nearly enough sleep!) I have found that my skin stays very soft as well, which in the winter time is no easy feat.
I don't have any wrinkles around my eyes yet, so I can't really attest to how well the cream would reduce the appearance of lines or wrinkles, but I am definitely optimistic there. The combination of ingredients is known to moisturize and "plump" the skin, so I would definitely believe that this product could certainly make bags and wrinkles less apparent.
Overall, I am definitely a fan of Mad Hippie Eye Cream. If Whole Foods wasn't so far away, I would hop in my car to pick up more of their products. Luckily, they're available online, too!
If you'd like to see how amazing Chamomile is for the skin, definitely check out what Mad Hippie has to offer. I think you'll be as delighted as I am.
