Anyone excited about the upcoming college basketball tournament? We'll be rooting for Ohio State, and things are sure to get downright rowdy in our home as we watch the excitement unfold!
Of course watching our favorite sporting events is a wonderful way to work up quite an appetite. All that cheering, screaming at the TV, and downright anticipation, and overall fanfare seems to bring on some serious hunger. And NO ONE wants to deal with "hangry" sports fans, right? I didn't think so. At least I know I surely don't! That's okay, though. The folks at my local Giant Eagle grocery store has me covered for all of my Game Day snacking needs. In fact, we just headed to shop for our festivities, and saw that March is Frozen Food Month. That means there are some fabulous deals to be found in the Giant Eagle Freezer Aisles that are absolutely perfect for those Game Day celebrations!
We decided to keep things fun and relatively simple for our Game Day feast, and chose some Giant Eagle brand frozen snacks that are sure to delight even the pickiest of eaters.
Giant Eagle frozen pizzas and Soft Pretzels make the perfect snack, are easy to prepare, and they're even quite easy on the wallet, too! What else would I expect from Giant Eagle, though? They consistently offer quality and value to my family, which is something I've definitely grown to trust and count on since moving back to the NE OH area a few years ago.
We grabbed a few different types of pizza, including Pepperoni, Sausage & Pepperoni, and a classic Cheese pizza, too! These pizzas are delicious, and offer a pizzeria style, self-rising crust as well.
My favorite is the Sausage & Pepperoni, but the kids seem to really love the Cheese. All of these pizzas have one thing in common, regardless of the flavor: They are all a wonderful value, and topped with quality sauces and toppings, perfect for celebrations or just an everyday meal solution!
Of course Giant Eagle's Soft Pretzels are a perfect snacking choice, too!
These warm, savory snacks are low in fat, cholesterol-free, and are ready in mere seconds! We love our Soft Pretzels with either a mustard or cheese dip, although they're also tasty on their own, too!
Another Giant Eagle offering is their Stuffed Pretzel Bites. These offer the same soft pretzel goodness, but these little bites come packed with the surprise of a creamy, cheesy filling.
To dip or not to dip, that is the question.... And with Soft Pretzels from Giant Eagle, there is no wrong answer!
Overall, we're loving all the value and flavorful offerings we've found right here in our Giant Eagle's freezer section. There's a wonderful variety of my family's favorite foods, and all at a price that won't break the bank.
We're definitely looking forward to our Game Day entertaining, since it will be full of fun, friends and family, and of course, flavorful snacks, too. Who says one must sacrifice quality for value? Why not choose BOTH at Giant Eagle? Enter to WIN a $50 Giant Eagle Gift Card :
I am thrilled to announce that one lucky reader will receive a $50 Giant Eagle Gift Card for themselves!
