OUR THOUGHTS:
When Cars 3 arrived, my kids and husband were all SUPER excited. You see, we're a car family, in a sense. My husband is a Service Manager at an auto repair shop, and he was a mechanic for many years as well. He's also got lead-foot-itis, but that's a different post entirely.
Anyway, we really enjoyed this continuation of Lightning McQueen's adventures. In this film, #95 is struggling to stay competitive among a new generation of super-speedy cars. Can an old car learn new tricks and keep bringing home the Piston Cup wins? According to Cruz Ramirez, a female technician, he sure can! With a little help from his friends, Lightning McQueen takes on his biggest race to date. Does he win? I'll never tell.....Spoilers stink, after all. What I WILL say is that this movie didn't disappoint, and is fast-paced, witty, and full of all the fun and fanfare that racing fans adore. Oh, some of the characters are even based off of REAL Nascar racing personalities! How cool is that?! Overall, we definitely enjoyed Cars 3. It just proves that with hard work, friendship, and dedication to one's passion, anything is possible...Even that which seems impossible.
