Buying Jeans for Guys and Girls

Jeans have an amazing way of solving the age-old conundrum of what on earth to wear.Their versatility gives them a huge range of applications, and they are priceless in helping you to highlight the best things about your body and hide the worst parts.

Jeans for men
For men, jeans are a stalwart in most activities, from sporting activities to dates, dinners, bar hopping or shopping! No matter what the activity, a good pair of jeans will always remain a solid go-to option, which is why it is important that the jeans should sit comfortably and fit well. Those lucky enough to have a toned body can wear basically any style of jeans and look good doing it. However, the type of denim you choose is going to affect how the jeans fit, and is what is going to make the difference between fitted and baggy jeans. Paired with the right top, jeans are a universal winner for most situations.

Jeans for women
The best part of today’s denim fashion trends is that women's jeans have a habit of
making the best of what is already good on the wearer, while hiding many shortcomings. If you are at all uncertain about what jeans to choose, always opt for a classic cut for a timeless appearance that can be dressed up or down, depending on what is required.

Something for everyone
Tall people often battle to find jeans that are long enough. However, extra long jeans are often just that – and in excess! The ideal hem length should just brush below your heels. Many jeans are now (thankfully) being manufactured with longer inseams.

When it comes to style, the one you choose is down to your personal preference. If you like showing off your legs, go for a pair of skinnies. For a more flattering cut, go for bootleg or straight to frame your silhouette and elongate your legs.

Spicing things up a bit
There are many stigmas about brightly coloured jeans and rolled up cuffs. I believe this to be an old-fashioned view, as there is actually nothing better than rolling up your jeans and going for a long walk on the beach. And what says “vacation” better than brightly colored trousers?

So what makes a classic cut, a classic?
Simply put, classic cuts fit loosely on the leg, are not form-fitting in any way. The reason these cuts are popular, is that they work for most body types, and flatter all builds, from skinny to plus size. Take a casual look into evening time by
swapping out your t-shirt for a sophisticated top.

You have to love it
Comfort is the greatest priority of all when searching for a new pair of jeans. Picking a pair with some stretch is a great way of achieving this. Jeans with a bit of stretch are more forgiving on the figure, more comfortable, and make for more easier freedom of movement. Feel free to shop around for a size bigger or smaller that you would usually wear, and see how that affects your overall look!
