***Disclosure: I received complimentary samples to facilitate my post. All opinions are 100% honest and have not been influenced in any way.*** My oldest son just turned 18, graduated High School Magna Cum Laude, and is now focusing on becoming a bona-fide adult. This means he's working, continuing his education, and ultimately honing in on his ultimate goal of having some sort of creative career, whether it's with his art or as a budding tattoo artist. He's got immense talent, and an incredibly bright future, if I do say so myself. My 18 year old son also...well...smells like an 18 year old young man. I don't know how to state that delicately, so I won't. Sometimes, he gets funky, and it's less than pleasant for those in the same room. That's why I decided to treat him to a wonderful assortment of masculine smelling, natural personal care products from Nubian Heritage. Their Abyssinian Oil & Chia Seed line will not only keep my young man clean and pampered, they will also help him smell less like a barnyard animal. Good for him, good for my nose. It's a win for everyone! About Nubian Heritage :Passionate about sharing our products and the cultures they come from, we’ve been guided by our community’s demand for wellness products that spoke to their unique needs and have drawn on the rich healing philosophies of these communities around the globe. Guided- by the legacy of ancient Nubia, the world's first melting pot, we remix global healing traditions into modern wellness solutions. Ancient Nubia was once a center of cultural trade — a place where goods, ideas, and customs from across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and the Mediterranean came together, influenced each other, and then spread across the ancient world. That’s the inspiration behind Nubian Heritage. We bring together traditional healing practices, cultural wisdom and indigenous ingredients, remix them and create modern natural solutions for skin and hair. This is our mission: to make cultural exchange the model for transforming the global community. Our journey has been a long one, and it’s far from over. What began in Harlem continues globally as we empower individuals with healing traditions, rituals, and philosophies from around the world. We’re constantly developing new products and remedies, and discovering and sharing new paths to wellness. Our Thoughts : As you can see, we received an awesome assortment of products from the fabulous folks at Nubian Heritage. Included were best sellers from their Abyssinian Oil & Chia Seed line: Body Wash, Hand Cream, Deodorant, and their Hand & Body Scrub. These products are all wonderful, and perform quite well. The Body Wash lathers nicely and rinses away clean, the Scrub is fantastic, and the Deodorant definitely works overtime to squash any nasty body odor smells. I especially love the Hand Cream, and keep it right next to my workstation. Yep. I didn't give that one to Kyle, and had to keep it for myself. It is nice and rich without feeling greasy, and it leaves my hands super soft and moisturized. The scent is great, too! I admit, this particular variety is a little more masculine than I'd prefer for myself....However, it's absolutely perfect for my son, or any other man out there who likes to smell...Well...Like a man. It's not an overpowering aroma, but does have a slight muskiness to it that a lot of ladies will find appealing. Overall, I'm definitely impressed with our Nubian Heritage experience. I love that these globally-inspired products contain the best ingredients that nature has to offer. I also love that my 18 year old son smells nice now, rather than funkalicious.
