Okay, so I have a gripe with Mother Nature right now.
It's April 17th, and I am sitting comfortably inside my house watching it SNOW. Elsa clearly forgot to take her meds, and has a bone to pick with humanity.
Yep. It's snowing. In late April. Gotta love NE Ohio weather, right?
Anyway, I have been in the process of updating my Spring wardrobe because eventually the sun has to prevail over this seemingly endless winter. It HAS to warm up sometime.... right? So even as the snow falls with no clear end in sight, I have visions of sundresses, sandals, and sunglasses dancing in my head. Some of my favorites of the season would have to be the brand new Ed Hardy eyewear from Addicted Brands.
Launching in January 2018, Addicted Brands is ready to provide style-savvy consumers with a whole new selection of sun and optical eyewear. The collection, which is designed from handmade acetate, includes men’s, women’s, and unisex models. Unlike similar brands and materials, which retail for more than $250.00, Addicted Brands eyewear is available for an MSRP of around $100.00 or less. Their goal is to bring consumers modern and designer-looking glasses without the designer price tag. In addition to opening 1200 physical stores across the United States, the company will soon announce significant partnerships in the retail and digital industries.
Addicted Brands is equipped with an in-house lab and is able to fulfill orders of all sizes. Shoppers can choose from 50 different styles of eyewear and 260 styles of sunglasses in a full spectrum of color options, with traditional and emerging designs including:
The awesome folks at Addicted Brands sent me a few pairs of their oh-so-trendy sunglasses to check out for myself. Included were their Riverside, Justice, and Bristol styles.
First, I'd love to share the Bristol style. As you can see, these are fun, funky, and more daring in nature. These feature full silver-toned, patterned, metal frames as well as matching, mirrored lenses.
These are playful, trendy, and definitely in this season. My 18 year old son actually stole these from me, and I am fairly sure they now belong to him.
That's okay, though. I'm good at sharing.
Next, I would love to show off my personal favorite: The Justice.
These are not only well-made, they are also incredibly stylish. I absolutely adore the tortoiseshell frames with gold-toned, metal accents. These are just my style, and I have been wearing them constantly...Even during the snow.
I'm in love with these, and am pretty sure they will get tons of wear this spring and summer!
Last but certainly not least, we have the classic Riverside sunnies.
These feature a thicker, black acetate rim and black tinted lenses. These are VERY in right now, and I've already received a ton of compliments on them.
The nicest part is that this particular style is quite unisex, so my husband has actually grabbed them before heading out to run errands and nobody laughed or pointed. (This is a guy who does not care, and has been known to go in public in my pink PJ pants to grab milk or bread or other emergency essentials.) These actually look good on both of us, so I see some hardcore battling over who gets to wear them in the future.
Overall, I am absolutely, over the moon in LOVE with Addicted Brands, and I have a growing wish list of sunnies I absolutely have to add to my collection. These are designer glasses at affordable prices, so I won't even feel guilty if I add a few more pairs to my collection.
I'm kinda drooling over the St. Charles with the rainbow lenses and the Steger styles. Soooooooo hot this season.
What are YOUR favorite Addicted Brands styles? How do you update your look for the warmer months? I'd love to hear all about it!
