***Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. It's kind of funny, because as I type this, we have snow on the ground. Someone surely irritated Elsa, and needs to go and apologize STAT! Actually, this is pretty common for NE Ohio, and things should be a bit more spring like soon. Hopefully by this weekend. I have plans. Part of our spring cleaning always includes finding ways to be better organized. I realized that, under quarantine, I may have gone overboard with the band t-shirts. Like, I ordered a lot of them. All the money I would have spent at concerts, I spent on band merchandise. I wish I were kidding. Perhaps there's a 12-Step program for this? To keep my t-shirts from taking over our living space, I decided to find a sturdy, second-hand dresser. I found this diamond in the rough on Facebook Marketplace. It's an ugly but very well made, solid wood Bassett dresser from around the 1950s. Like you should with ANY piece of used furniture, I decided to clean this thoroughly before bringing it in the house. It's a good thing, too, as it had been in storage and had spider eggs stuck to the bottom. Yikes! That's where my Scott's Liquid Gold comes to the rescue! Scott’s Liquid Gold ONE CLEAN HOME® is a new multi surface cleaner formulated for wood and more! That's right! This is multi-purpose and can be used around the house, not just on your wood! ONE CLEAN HOME® uses naturally occurring, non-toxic citric acid to clean all kinds of household messes for cleaning that makes you feel good, while remaining totally safe for your kids and pets! ONE CLEAN HOME Works on all types of hard surfaces, and effortlessly cleans greasy, grimy, gritty, goopy messes. (If you've got kids, you know exactly what I'm talking about.) The cool part? This has a foaming, no-drip formula that stays where you put it. No running or weird splotches! ONE CLEAN HOME also has a fresh, clean grapefruit scent that definitely makes the house smell crisp and welcoming. I also used some Scott's Liquid Gold Wood Care on the Blonde Ash finish of the dresser. This nourishes and protects wood surfaces perfectly, and also repels dust and grime. I really love how it makes the wood around my home look. Pretty soon, my new-to-me antique dresser was clean, inside and out, and ready to put all of my treasures in. I am happy to report that I've claimed my space back, and my band merch finally has a home. Yes, the dresser is FULL, full....But that's another post entirely.
