One of my favorite things about summer is cooking out on the grill. I do this several times a week during summer, unless of course it's raining. Then I use my pressure cooker. That's a different post entirely, though.
Anyway, I am a HUGE fan of eating, entertaining, and cooking in the great outdoors. Or, at least in my case, the backyard. It's my own little corner of the universe, and while it's nothing fancy, it's home. Since grilling season is all about big, bold flavors, we love incorporating our Manuka Honey and Pacific Sea Salts from PRI into our cooking. These are ingredients of the absolute highest of quality. They not only pack a HUGE punch when it comes to flavor, they're also good for you! Mother Nature's finest, straight out of New Zealand. New Zealand is one of the last bastions of purity as an environmentally protected and GMO-Free region with the cleanest oceans on the globe. Case in point, Manuka is the gold standard for honey and is produced exclusively in New Zealand from bees and flowers that are environmentally protected. Enjoy these safe and soothing products every day and feel great using them! No artificial flavors, colors, no corn syrup or refined sugars and NO preservatives, either. I am a HUGE fan of PRI, and of Manuka Honey in general. Domestic honey has been in the news lately, and not for very good reasons. Thankfully, I don't have to worry about my Manuka Honey, since it comes directly from beautiful New Zealand, and is completely pure and clean. Recently, I was sent a fabulous assortment of PRI products that are sure to help our summer feasts be as flavorful as possible! I would love to tell you a bit about each of these products, so keep reading for more info. Trust me, you will absolutely love what they have to offer!
The Classic Salted Manuka Honey Caramels are a delicious treat. I am already a fan of caramels in general, and the addition of pure, Manuka Honey makes these extra special. I've hidden these babies from the children, since I just can't bear to share them. They're that good!
Also included were the Dark Chocolate Manuka Honey Slated Caramels. They're all-natural Manuka Honey Caramel wrapped in rich Dark Chocolate & topped with a sprinkle of pure New Zealand Flaky Sea Salt. Made in the USA.
Chipotle BBQ Smoked Pacific Sea Salt Fine Shaker
New Zealand meets Louisiana BBQ. PRI's finest, naturally dried sea salt combined with a unique Louisiana formula from a special family blend of herbs and spices for a unique southern BBQ taste. Pacific Sea Salt is harvested from the clean oceans that sweep through the Marlborough Sound between New Zealand's North and South Islands into the solar field. Bio Gro Certified Pacific Sea Salt Flaky Salt Marlborough Flaky Sea Salt is evaporated by an age-old process producing unique flake shaped crystals. These are prized by the Epicurean palate for their flavor, soft texture and versatility when used in fine cuisine. The Flaky Sea Salt has a unique three-dimensional crystal. Which is produced by being very slowly evaporated in an open pan. It is a very light textured salt with a delicate flavor. The taste is created by the unique crystal size and shape of the Marlborough sea salt flakes. Excellent for sprinkling on top of foods and its light texture means it “sticks”better. Perfect for salads, baking, BBQ meats and even French Fries! Margarita Salt –NEW The perfect salt for margarita time, rimming the glass to give your cocktail that something extra. Great for Bloody Mary's too. Marlborough flaky sea salt is as natural as the oceans, sun and wind used in its harvesting. The clean oceans surrounding New Zealand along with the unique drying process allow this salt to be certified by Bio-Gro for its purity. This unique process creates a distinctive, pyramid crystal which is prized for its unique taste and texture.
