Now that winter is over, knock on wood, many of us are ready to tackle some hardcore Spring Cleaning. My house needs it for sure, since we've been cooped up all winter with kids and multiple pets. Some all-around freshening is definitely in order!
When it comes to cleaning products, I generally try to choose products that are safe around both my human children and my fur-babies. Things like dyes, glycols, phosphates, 1,4-dioxane, chlorine, DEA, formaldehyde, caustics, or optical brighteners aren't what I'm looking for when I'm reading ingredient labels. I much prefer safe, natural ingredients, such as those found in Grab Green's home product line-up. Grab Green creates effective, non-toxic laundry and home care solutions that are gentle on you and the planet. Their mission is to innovate the best eco-responsible products on the market that perform even better than the leading brands. Grab Green was the first to launch a pod-based laundry detergent, solvent-free power degreaser, non-toxic garbage disposal freshener, and a naturally derived cookware/bakeware cleaner. Their promise to you is that their products will always be effective, eco-responsible, healthier, and innovative. Grab Green products also smell amazing, thanks to their unique and handcrafted aromatherapeutic blends of essential oils. Yep. That's right. I just said the magic words: Essential oils.
We received a nice assortment of Grab Green products to check out for ourselves. They arrived quickly, and were packaged in an adorable box that almost made me eager to start cleaning, which is normally something I despise.
Anyway, inside the pretty package were several home essentials like laundry and dish products. You know, those must haves that no home can be without? The best part? These products are eco-friendly and completely safe. First, I'd love to tell you all about Grab Green line-up.
Cookware & Bakeware Cleaner – No more scrubbing pots and pans! Offering ease, convenience, natural purity and robust cleaning power to home and professional chefs, cooks and bakers alike, Grab Green’s plant and mineral-based cookware and bakeware cleaners are naturally-derived and feature a non-toxic formula that’s safe and completely effective. (you will receive this product)
Automatic Dishwashing Detergent Pods. (24 loads per bag) – Grab Green’s Pods are a powerful grease remover and will leave your dishes sparkling clean. Comes in four fragrances: Thyme with Fig Leaf, Red Pear with Magnolia, Grapefruit with Cranberry, Tangerine with Lemongrass, and Fragrance Free.
3in1 Laundry Detergent Pods – (24 loads per bag) – 1. Superior Detergent 2. Remarkable Stain Remover 3. Beautiful Brightener. 3 in 1 comes in four fresh fragrances (lavender with vanilla, gardenia, vetiver, fragrance free)
NEW Stoneworks Laundry Detergent Pods (50 loads per bag) – Especially (though by no means solely) for millennials, recyclers and outdoor enthusiasts, this cost-effective and eco-responsible line features a collection of earthy fragrance profiles. Choose from 5 fragrances: Birch, Oak Tree, Rose Petal, Olive Leaf, and Rain Fragrance Free. We are very impressed with how well this laundry detergent cleans our clothing. Often, "green" detergents are a bit lacking in efficiency, and may not get clothing as clean as I'd like. This was not the case with Grab Green 3 in 1 Laundry Detergent Pods! I especially love the Gardenia scented pods, but the fragrance-free version performs just as well! Grab Green Automatic Dishwashing Detergent Pods cut through grime, remove grease, and leave dishes sparkling clean all while being free of dyes, chlorine, and phosphates. I have to admit, I was a little skeptical about these Dishwashing Pods. I've had very mixed experiences with eco-friendly dishwasher detergent, and have had issues with odd residues being left behind in the past. Grab Green hit the nail on the head with their formulation, and my dishes are clean, shiny, and spot-free. Yippee! Overall, we're definitely quite pleased with our Grab Green, eco-friendly cleaning experience. As far as eco-friendly cleaning products go, these are at the top of their game. I would definitely recommend checking them out if you're looking for a safe, natural, effective way to tackle your Spring Cleaning! Connect with Grab Green And SAVE :

My best tip is not to take on too much at one time. Break up a big job into smaller components.

My best cleaning tip is to use microfiber cloths and vinegar. I am finding that it cleans almost everything very well.

My best tip is to take it one room at a time and just slowly work your way through them all. I have to fit my spring cleaning in after work (I'm gone about 10 hours a day), so that is the only way I can get anything done!

I open the windows on a windy day/evening and spray a mist of vinegar water throughout the house, repeating three-four times. You will notice a huge difference in not having a stale smelling home anymore.

Start at the top and work down. I try to knock down cobwebs, dust the ceiling fan and furniture, and get the floors last.

Hmm, my best Spring cleaning tip is to open the windows & just let fresh air in as early in the season as possible. It gets rid of that old, stale air feeling--& if you have allergies, like I do, doing it early means you might beat all the pollen, lol.

My tip is to make a schedule prior to cleaning, declutter, always clean from the top of the ceiling down so that the dirt will fall to the bottom of the floor and use rubber gloves to protect your skin from any harsh chemicals.
