Today was a gorgeous day here in North-East Ohio. It was a balmy 65 degrees, with a good bit of sunshine. (Too bad we're supposed to get 8"-12" of snow in the next 24 hours. I think Mother Nature is bi-polar this winter!)
Albeit brief, the nice weather reminded me that Spring is coming, and pretty soon, it will be time to decorate eggs and get Easter baskets ready.

To get my kids as excited as I am for Easter, we sat down and watched Winnie the Pooh: Springtime with Roo the Hippity Hoppity Roo Edition on Disney Blu-Ray. I mean come on....Who doesn't love Winnie the Pooh? I remember when this movie first came out. My 14 year old was very young, and he insisted on watching it over and over and over again. Let's just say I pretty much have the entirety of this movie committed to memory, I have seen it so many times. So of course, I was excited that my preschoolers will get to see this on Blu-Ray, with loads of special features. What a great way to be introduced to one of my favorites?

Check out a couple of clips from my favorite Springtime with Roo scenes:
And if that one wasn't adorable enough, check out this Easter Song! Don't be shocked if it gets stuck in your head and you find yourself humming at in the grocery store checkout line. It's quite a catchy little ditty.
We are absolutely loving this release. I especially love the dance-along bonus feature. Sophie and Xander love shaking their hips and twirling around to Rabbit's Easter Song. It's the cutest thing ever!

And of course, as a parent I love the heartwarming, positive nature of this story. The emphasis on friendship and other positive values is very strong. I am hoping that it makes my little ones a little more helpful toward each other!

I think we will make watching Winnie the Pooh: Springtime with Roo a family tradition around Easter. This is a fun, feel-good movie that will definitely help anyone get into the mood for springtime! Even grumpy old Eeyore.

This title is available NOW, wherever Disney Blu-Ray titles are sold. Get your copy today!
