As many of you know, my name is Brandy, and I am the mama behind this blog. I have a stubborn, often strange teen who wants to be an "emo", (whatever that is...Is it a cross between Elmo and an Emu? Hmm...) and I also have 2 toddlers: my 3 year old diva, Sophia, and my 2 year old terror, Xander. I also have a man-child of a husband who just happens to be wonderful, despite his addiction to anime and cartoons. Pets? You betcha! We gave 3 puppies, and (possibly) 2 cats. We recently had a cute, orange tabby show up covered in snow, and while we're attempting to locate the owner, he has made himself quite at home and my kids have started calling him "Cheddar". He also gets along swimmingly with our cat, Noodles...And let's just face it: Noodles and Cheddar. How perfect is that combo?! Yeah, I thought so, too! So with a household like that, you can see why I make an ideal blogger as far as demographics and targeted audiences go. I literally have a little bit of everything under my roof, so I can honestly use and review almost anything. Beauty and fashion...Housewares since we just bought our home and are remodeling and upgrading, kids' products, and pets...I have it all here. Over the past few years, I have gotten to work with hundreds of amazing companies. I am even hoping to attend Reviewers Retreat to connect with even more great brands and learn more about the marketer/blogger relationship. But even though I have made so many fantastic business relationships, there are a few companies that I am still incessantly day-dreaming about working with. Here's my top 3 coveted business relationships, as well as why I'd love to work with them. 1. The Holy Grail of Baby Gear : Britax So Britax is basically my reviewer's dream. I have 2 toddlers that would make great test-babies, and I am an experienced baby gear reviewer. But for some reason, working with Britax is not on my resume yet....Even though I have spent years literally drooling over their products. After all, Britax is rumored to be the best of the best, and I would love to put them to the test. Here are some of the Britax products that are high on my wish-list: Behold the Boulevard 70-G3 in Zebra. How adorable is that?! And very, very safe from all of the reviews I have read. And I also love the look of the Frontier 85 SICT. This would be perfect for my 3 year old, Sophie. She is 3, and is ready to graduate from her convertible car seat, but not quite ready for a full-blown booster seat. Here, you have both seats in one! I especially love the Cardinal color option. The Britax B-Agile Double Stroller...This, my friends, is what dreams are made of! With 2 toddlers, I have been searching for the perfect double-stroller. According to many, many reviews, this seems to be a top contender! 2. Because our sectional is broken and sagging: La-Z-Boy I would also love, love, LOVE to work with La-Z-Boy. For one, this would be the perfect fit for this site. We just bought our century home in August, and I love featuring all of the amazing upgrades we're doing throughout the home. From updating furnishings and decor to total remodeling and renovation, I am sharing it all with you as it happens. (Remember my amazing set of Maytag Kitchen Appliances? Oh, I love my fridge!) Also, our sectional sofa is well...pretty much destroyed. No, it is actually broken. Ready for a laugh? True story: We had just purchased our sectional sofa a few months before, and we had a few friends over for dinner and drinks. (This was pre-baby.) Well, one of our good friends was a bigger guy. He was built like a linebacker, with a little extra padding. He plopped down on one of our cushions. Well, the next thing you know, another friend of ours decided to plop down in his lap. The problem? While she was very pretty, she was a larger gal...And I don't mean chubby, I mean definitely larger. Under the weight of our friends, the boards that support that seat completely split. Now our sectional has a huge spot that is caved in completely. Definitely time for a new one. And since I have heard La-Z-Boy is the best in both quality and value, I have fallen in love with a few of their sectionals. Of course I would change up the fabrics, colors, and textures. That's part of what makes La-Z-Boy so awesome. Here are some of the designs I love: The Collins Sectional with Sleeper looks perfect for our family, and I love that it can accommodate overnight guests with its pull-out bed! I also love the look of the Rex Sectional. It just looks so plush and velvety soft...Definitely somewhere I would love to snuggle with my kiddos to read a book or watch a movie! I also love the reclining seats that the Pierce Sectional offers. This looks like the perfect sofa for watching the Big Game! 3. Guidecraft: Because The Dress-Up Clothes Have Exploded! I also love Guidecraft. Particularly their dramatic play and dress up items! My toddler, Sophie, is a complete girl-girl, and her room is quickly becoming over-run by her Princess and Fairy clothes. Just look at these adorable dress-up centers from Guidecraft. I am in LOVE! The Dress Up Storage Center would be so perfect for Sophie's room. It would fit in amazingly with her princess decor! I also love the rotating, yet spacious Dress Up Carousel. This is super-creative for small spaces, and even has a mirror on one side so she can see that she really IS the fairest of them all! And of course I just had to find something that would fit into Xander's monkey-themed room! I love this Papagayo Toy Box. It is so beautiful, and would be sure to make my little man go bananas! These are the top 3 brands I would love to form a relationship with in 2013. Kind of like my Bloggie-Wish-List of sorts. What are your favorite brands? As a customer, or as a blogger?
