Always keep your eyes open. It's important to be watchful. Also, realize you aren't alone and are going to make mistakes. You are still a great parent!

I'm going to be a new mom soon, and just learned that crib bumpers could be dangerous! I think it's important to keep up with safety research.

After hearing on the news this week about an infant dying because the parents left him in the car..never leave your child or infant in the car!

I'm soon to be a 1st time Grandma...so exciting!! I would say to keep a watchful eye on your baby and make sure to baby proof your home. Once they start crawling and walking, they love to explore and get into everything.

Leave your baby in a rear-facing car seat for as long as the manufacturer recommends.

I saw this tip and I think it is a great one, especially in the hot hot days of summer. Work days can be hectic and our routes can be routine. Ladies, put your purse/work things down on the floor by your child's car seat. That way you will always reach for those things when you reach your destination and remind yourself that your baby is with you.
