***Disclosure: I received complimentary samples to facilitate my review. No other compensation was provided, and all opinions are 100% honest and have not been influenced in any way.*** Like most kids, my teenager Kyle loves candy. (Well, I am sure my toddlers would, too, but I am the "mean Mommy" who doesn't allow them to have it yet!) Kyle loves pretty much any kind of sweet treats, but he prefers fruity candies that are sweet or sour over chocolatey goodies. He also loves candy that he can easily take with him while he hangs out with his friends, goes to the park, or rides his bike around the neighborhood. So when I got the opportunity to review the newest line from Radz called Radz Gone Wild, I jumped right on board. I knew that Kyle would not only love the fruity candies, but that he'd love the cute animal characters as well. Plus, he can hop online using his iPod Touch and have interactive fun using the Radz apps! (Each dispenser comes with a code to download them.) About Radz Gone Wild : Radz Brands has just released their new Gone Wild line of animal-themed candy dispensers that are techy, too! Radz candy dispensers are the interactive toy, candy, and online experience that have invaded specialty shops all over the country. The migration continues with the introduction of four new friends - Scratch the Tiger, Bandit the Zebra, Spanky the Monkey and Squeak the Penguin - collectively known as Radz Gone Wild! With summer just around the corner, your local zoo is sure to make a great day trip, and what better way to enhance the experience than with these collectable cuties. The Gone Wild collectibles are priced at the allowance-friendly rate of $3.99 to $5.99, and when it’s time for your little one to consider their choice of candy options, animal lovers will have a hard time turning down the Gone Wild collection after they see everything that’s included. In addition to the adorable candy dispenser filled with citrusy sweet flavors, each purchase of a Radz candy dispenser comes with a bonus Radz Plus code that accesses free Apps for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Optional accessories like mystery glasses, lanyards with a swivel clip and buckle round out these delicious little packages and ensure everyone goes home happy. Here are the new Radz Gone Wild characters. Aren't they adorable?! Our Review of Radz Gone Wild : We received Scratch the Tiger and Spanky the Monkey, along with tons of Radz candy to review. We also got a couple of fun lanyard style necklaces that make these candy dispensers super-portable. If necklaces aren't your thing, no worries. Radz can also be clipped onto any backpack since they have a handy clip attached to them. To fill the Radz dispensers with candy, all you need to do is twist off their "hair". Viola! A little hole appears, and you just add the candy to the dispenser. Then you add the hair back onto the character, and you're ready to rock and roll, Radz style! To dispense the candy, you just push the character's hair back and like magic, the character's mouth opens, revealing a piece of fruity candy. Here is Spanky the Monkey as well. We're monkey obsessed in our home, so I was thrilled to see a monkey in the Radz Gone Wild line-up! Kyle really loves his Radz Gone Wild candy dispensers. They're cute and stylish without being "baby-ish". (His words, not mine.) As we all know, to a teen, image is everything! Kyle also really enjoys making tiger-monkey hybrids by switching the tops around. Maybe I have a bit of a mad-scientist on my hands here. He also loves the candy! There are four citrusy flavors, Orange Burst, Apple Smash, Strawberry Splash and Radzberry Crush. Kyle loves the fact that they're more sweet than tart, and he said he has a hard time keeping his friends from trying to sneak a few when he's not looking! He also really likes using the Radz apps on his iPod Touch. While I may not allow my toddlers to eat the candy, I do let them have fun using the Radz apps. They love seeing all the fun characters come to life right before their eyes! They also love the fun games that can be found on the Radzworld website. Overall, we love Radz. These are like Pez dispensers for the modern child, and so much more fun! No wonder they're taking the world by storm! How to Connect : You can check out the awesomeness of Radz on their website. You can also connect on Facebook and on YouTube to stay on top of their latest products and promotions! Enter to WIN : I am thrilled to announce that one lucky reader will receive 2 Radz Gone Wild characters of their own!
