***Disclosure:I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for OxiClean. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and promotional item as a thank you for participating.*** With summer coming to a close and school about to begin, I am trying to get all my ducks in a row rather quickly. So much to do, so little time! Luckily, I got a head start by purchasing new school clothes for Kyle very early on to save money. Unfortunately, he has decided to wear some of them this summer, and they have ended up with grass stains. There are also a few "mystery stains" I can't quite identify. (Those are always scary!) While I could totally stress about making his clothing look brand new again, I have a secret weapon that will get those stubborn stains out in no time flat. I have been using OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover for years now, and it has never let me down. Activated by water, its unique ingredients go to work unleashing bubbling oxygen power for safe, effective cleaning and stain removal. In the wash, it enhances your wash water pH to improve your detergents cleaning ability and also contains special ingredients to help rinse soils away. OxiClean works wonders on laundry, but also helps with many other household cleaning needs, too! We have pets, and it really works well on "accidents". Not only does OxiClean remove even the most set-in stains, it removes odors, too. This is great because it prevents re-marking. I also use OxiClean to clean my tub. My son and I both dye our hair, usually with Manic Panic. This can stain very badly, and can leave the bathtub looking like a bloody crime scene. (I dye my hair red.) I have found that OxiClean takes the stains out better than other bathroom cleaners. There really are a ton of uses for this product. It's very gentle, and as the name suggests, incredibly versatile. My son, Xander, has a fabric dolly that he drags everywhere. (Yes, I let my 2 year old play with dolls with his sister.) Well, he took Dolly outside with him, and dragged her through plenty of dirt and mud. Rather than being flesh-toned, she ended up dingy and brownish-gray. So I decided that Dolly needed an OxiClean Bath! Take a look below to see how OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover saved the day and brought Xander's Dolly back to life! This is Dolly before. This photo does not do justice to how filthy she actually was. As you can see, there is some obvious dirt and dinginess, but it was a LOT worse than it looks here! I mixed a solution of OxiClean and hot water in a large glass bowl. This served as Dolly's bathtub. Xander laughed as he watched me dunk his pal into the solution, making sure she was totally saturated. The really cool thing about OxiClean is that you can actually see it working! The oxygenating action causes the solution to bubble as it attacks even the most stubborn stains. It almost looked like Dolly was chilling in a jacuzzi! I waited about 15 minutes and then rinsed Dolly thoroughly to make sure that all of the OxiClean was rinsed away. I wrung her out, and let her dry. I was very pleased to see that Dolly looks brand new again! All of the embedded dirt, mud and grime had disappeared. Xander was a very happy little boy, and he gave me plenty of kisses and hugs for "fixing" his Dolly! Overall, we love OxiClean. It really works quickly, and is effective on pretty much any stain you can imagine. We've used it successfully on everything from laundry to toilet bowls to pet stains and even blood. It's also very affordable, and a little bit goes a very long way. So as you're prepping your children's back to school clothing, be sure to give OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover a try. If you haven't tried this product, I think you'll be amazed!
Have you used OxiClean before? I'd love to hear your cleaning tips and experiences!
