The next item I'd like to review that will be featured in my For Baby package giveaway during my upcoming birthday bash is the Boon Groovy + Modware Interlocking Plate and Bowl Set With Utensils. (Try saying that 5 times fast!)

First, before I get into my review, I would like share my total and complete obsession with all things Boon. If you haven't heard of this company and the innovative baby and toddler products they have to offer, you must be living under a rock somewhere!Boon,Inc. carries some of the most creative, practical, and delightfully modern products on the market. And the best part? Boon is dedicated to creating only the best infant and toddler products that are specifically engineered not only to make baby happy, but to make parents' lives easier. With 2 babies well under the age of 2, I am always looking for products that allow me to save time, save money, and help my household run more efficiently. I am thrilled to say, Boon covers all of these bases and so much more!

Boon was founded by Rebecca Finell, a renowned designer, when she had to tackle a messy toddler bath tub. (And we all know that with the myriad of toys it takes to give baby an entertaining bath time, the tub can get messy and cluttered in no time flat!) Ms. Finell immediately put her creative juices to work and created the Boon Frog Pod, an ingenius and whimsical bath-time organization tool that allows you to store all those tub toys in one easy and attractive place.

Ms. Finell had a ton of other problem-solving ideas that she just knew would be invaluable to parents world-wide, so she partnered with successful businessman, Ryan Fernandez, and Boon, Inc. was born. Today, Boon offers a wide assortment of unique products that help solve multiple parenting challenges, and they are committed to bringing their customers only the highest quality and safest products around. They literally have thought of everything, and it shows in the streamlined convenience in their many products.

My personal favorite? The Boon Flair high chair! I soooo need one of these, since with 2 babies, I spend so much time having to wash fabric covers over...and over...and over again. And I cannot seem to wash them quickly enough! My daughter is the Queen of Messy, and seems to find a zillion little cracks and crevices to splatter or drop food into. I am fighting a never-ending battle with my highchair and the mess it contains. The Flair highchair is rumored to be one of the easiest to clean highchairs on the market, due to its streamlined, crevice-free design. Yep. I am in love. I will own one someday. This would have to be on my Top 5 Baby Product Wish List. They even have it in red, my favorite color! So if you haven't checked this amazing looking product out, I suggest you hop on over to Boon and take a look for yourself! It's definitely drool-worthy, to say the least!

I would like to tell you about a wonderful feeding set that would be perfect to use with that Flair high chair. It is Boon's super-unique Groovy and Modware complete feeding set. I received this fantastic set to review, and I have to say, it has been a lifesaver! (And laundry-saver, too!)

The Boon Groovy is a customizable bowl and plate set that features 4 perfectly portioned compartments. This product also features a non-slip bottom, which keeps it from slipping and sliding all over the highchair tray! There is a large plate section, perfect for chicken nuggets and other main-dish items, as well as an attached, large bowl. I like placing my proteins on the plate and offer veggies, such as peas and carrots in the larger bowl compartment. There are also 2 smaller, inter-locking bowl compartments that can be placed anywhere along the outer edges of the Groovy. . This has been a HUGE sanity saver for me, as I can put dips such as ranch, barbeque sauce, ketchup, or sweet and sour sauce in these smaller bowls and I can place them in such a way that they are securely attached to the rim of the Groovy, and well out of the way of my daughter's sleeves. This saves me from having to pre-treat awful stains on her clothing, as well as allows her to easily dip her own food. And let me tell you, dip she does! She loves experimenting with different dips and expanding her toddler palate. I love that the Groovy allows me to offer 2 different dip choices at once, allowing her to explore different flavor profiles and textures. These removable bowls are also wonderful for smaller treats and sides, such as raisins, olives, and smaller crackers like goldfish or oyster crackers! With this revolutionary mealtime system, the possibilities are endless. This encourages activity during meal time, and I love the sense of accomplishment I can see shining on my daughter's face as she dips her food all by herself! Oh, and remember how I mentioned Boon's commitment to safety? Boon's products are all BpA, Phthalate, and PVC Free, ensuring the well-being of your child.

To accompany the Groovy in this spectacular set is the Modware. These items go together like...well, peas and carrots! Boon Modware is a perfectly sized toddler utensil set that is ergonomically designed with a very soft and comfy grip. These are wonderful for budding self-feeders, and they help build the hand-eye-mouth coordination necessary to successfully self-feed. These little gems make eating simple and FUN, and rest assured there are absolutely no sharp edges to be found that can potentially take an eye out. BIG plus from me! I have actually heard of babies and toddlers being injured by improper utensil usage before, and it's no laughing matter. I love that these are soft and SAFE for my babies to use. Not to mention, they're just so darn cute! They also make great drumsticks for those aspiring musicians! They bang on trays, pots and pans beautifully!

Seriously, aren't these just the cutest dishes you've ever seen? I chose the NEW kiwi and grape color combo, since it is wonderfully unisex, as I have a baby girl and a baby boy right behind her!

Boon Groovy + Modware: Where fashion meets function!
My daughter LOVES using her Groovy + Modware, and I know that my son will love them, too, once he is old enough to begin feeding himself in a few months. This wonderful product gets an enthusiastic A+++ from my family. I love the ergonomic design as well as the customizable plating options I can achieve with the moveable "dip" bowls. I wish these were around when my 11 year old was a baby! (If they were, I was not aware of them.) And the Boon products are made to last, so I am certain I will get several years worth of use from these cute dishes. I think it's safe to say, I am now officially a Boon-A-Holic, and I hope to try more of their products soon. I am thoroughly impressed by the obvious care that has gone into the design of these products, and the love that has gone into them, too. It is obvious that these are created BY parents FOR parents. You know the old adage, "Necessity is the mother of invention"? Boon proves this statement to be absolutely true, and they do so beautifully.

One VERY lucky follower will be receiving a Boon Groovy + Modware set of their very own during my Birthday Bash giveaway event, hosted by me and A Timeout For Mommy. (Formerly Luna Savings.) This awesome feeding set will be just one of the tried-and-true items in my For Baby prize pack, currently valued at over $500.00! So set a reminder for June 1st, because you're not going to want to miss this! With brands like ERGOBaby, Tea Collection, Boon, envibum, and more, this prize package would make the ultimate baby shower gift for that expecting mama!

In the meantime, please checkout the awesomeness that is Boon,Inc. and take a look at the other exciting products they have to offer! I'm sure you'll find a ton of things to add to your wish list, too!
