It depends what's making me feel bad, but hot tea with honey is what I sip on a lot and I find that no matter how bad I feel I can almost always eat scrambled eggs....go figure.

A cool wash cloth on the neck works, but we've had the bekool strips before and they work really great, and stay on the forehead when they want to lay on their sides!

This one is going to sound weird but it does work. The past few weeks my allergies have been horrible well that turned into a sinus infection then a chest cold. I was miserable until I finally broke down and used my Granny's fix. Chop up about 1/2 of an onion and a few pieces of garlic in the food processor and put it on the bottom of your feet with some plastic wrap and put socks over it. Leave it on as long as you can stand it. sounds crazy but it works some how

Most of the time I'm sick it's congestion, so I like to take long steamy showers for relief.

Thankfully I don't get sick very often, but when I do I pamper myself and get whatever relief I can think of for what ails me...pillows, steamy showers, ice or heat packs, aspirin, humidifiers, etc.

I try not to take any medicine and use natural things (sleep, hot/cold/steam, teas, etc.) since mostly my body will heal itself naturally given the time and that way i don't have to put a lot of chemicals into my system.
