***Disclosure: I received complimentary samples to facilitate my review. No other compensation was given, and all opinions are 100% honest and have not been influenced in any way.*** With the Holidays coming up, I am always on the lookout for gifts that will keep my kids entertained and engaged. I have a 13 year old, a soon to be 4 year old, and my youngest will be 3 in January. Rarely do I find anything that all 3 kids will enjoy. After all, there are SO many differences between preschoolers and teens. For one, the preschoolers still listen when I start counting to 3. They always, without fail, stop whatever they're doing by the time I get to 2. My teen? Well, he would probably laugh hysterically if I tried that tactic. Also, Kyle doesn't like things like Disney Jr. and Team Umizoomi. Or God forbid, Dora the Explorer. He is much to cool for that. As different as my kiddos are, they do have one thing in common. They all love creative play. If something is hands on and artistic? Even better. So when I learned about the glue-free, mess-free craft kits from PomTree Kids, I knew I had stumbled upon one of those rare products that all of my children would enjoy. Maybe even enjoy together, imagine that! We received the Sparkle Fun Playhouse and the Our Day On the Town Sticker Storybook to check out for ourselves. The Sticker Storybook is absolutely adorable, with vibrant colors and cheerful characters. There are many different scenarios given that depict the girls' adventures in town. I especially like this cute picnic scene! Of course, there are tons and tons of stickers that kids can use to complete the scenes. There are clothing, pets, food, and other miscellaneous items to choose from. Kids can really get creative by customizing the storybook's pages to their own personal tastes. There are 879 stickers, so the possibilities are bountiful! The Sparkle Fun Playhouse is something enlisted the help of my teen son, Kyle, with. You see, Kyle is super creative and loves anything artistic. He loves building and designing things, so I knew he would really like putting together this great little playhouse. This playhouse is made entirely of foam pieces and heavy duty cardboard material. They all fit together perfectly using tabs and notches. Some pieces stick into place. No glue is required at all! There are also very realistic touches like the cute window awnings, a chimney, a shingled roof, and funcitoning doors! This playhouse comes with 402 pieces and is 15.5 inches tall. Obviously, my youngest kids aren't old enough to assemble this on their own. But they sure did love helping their big brother by handing him pieces and sticking shingles on the roof! The thing I love the most about the Sparkle Fun Playhouse is the fact that it comes with tons of furniture and household items. These also require simple assembly, and fit perfectly into the house's 5 rooms. (I say 5 because I am counting the attic space.) There is also a cute, fiery-haired little girl who occupies this colorful dream house! What Did The Kids Think? As soon as the Playhouse was assembled and I took a few pics, I let my over-eager kids play with it. I was really worried that they would demolish it in about 2.8 seconds. To my complete shock, they didn't. They actually played together nicely, and were very gentle with the components of the playhouse. They even played make-believe. They named the little girl Fiona and made her take naps, take a bath, cook, and try to kill the mice in the attic. (I can't say I blame them for wanting to exterminate!) They also really loved the sticker storybook. Most kids adore stickers, and mine are no exception. They really liked being able to put clothing on the characters and help set the scene using all of the provided stickers. The only thing I would change is I would make the pages laminated so the stickers could be moved and re-used. Still, this didn't seem to bother the kids, and they played with this book for hours. Overall, I am definitely loving the fun, mess-free craft kits from PomTree. They have so many great options to choose from! Not only are there elaborate 3-D Playtown Creativity Kits like the Sparkle Fun House, there are also Sticker Tubs and Playscape Creativity Kits! These would make great Holiday gifts, and may even give kids of varying ages something to do together. Hey, if my teen got excited about the assembly of the playhouse, I know this is a home run! Plus, there is minimal clean-up required and no glues or paints. Perfect! How to Connect : You can check out the awesomeness that is PomTree on their website.
