I can't believe I actually did it. I have known for awhile Xander could use a haircut, but I have been resisting. My little man has gorgeous, thick, wavy dark hair and a lot of it. (He gets that from his Mama!) Unfortunately, it also gets very messy and is horribly tangled every morning. His Bed Head is the worst, and I end up fighting with him to get the tangles out. I don't know what he's doing at night to wake up with a bird's nest on his head every morning, but it's been quite the challenge to deal with when he's struggling and trying to escape the hairbrush. Plus, no matter how much I try and get his hair to behave, it ends up going in every direction and poofing out due to the volume and waves in his hair.

So I did it. I set my little prince in the chair and I cut all of his hair off. I cried. I loved his locks so much! Especially how the back would curl...But it needed to be done. He looks like such a little boy now! Oh, and he sat still very well the whole time and didn't even fuss! I think the only one who was upset at all was ME!
