Now that Spring is here, my schedule is about to get a LOT more hectic. My JORD watch, which I received from this generous brand to check out for myself, is their colorful, exotic Cora watch. This came incredibly well packaged, and is totally suitable for gifting. 

I absolutely love the wooden storage box and pillow included with the watch. These little extras are luxurious and make the watch seem all the more special. Now onto the star of the show, my stunning Cora watch! 

Don't you just LOVE that shade of blue? It's one of my favorite colors, and is so flattering this season! 

Anyway, this watch is made from exotic Zebrawood, which lends a unique and rich appearance. I love the contrasts found in this type of wood, and it definitely stands out while being worn. 

The clasp is very easy to operate and keeps the watch securely on your wrist. I tried shaking my wrist around vigorously to see if the clasp would come undone, and I was pleased to see that it remained secure. By the way, if you wildly shake your arm around, your kids will probably think you're insane and retreat, wide-eyed, to their rooms. 

The face is gorgeous and vividly colored, and includes a little window to show what's going on "behind the scenes", so to speak. The watch is easy to read, and has bling instead of numbers. This is perfect for those who like to be just a little bit fancy, like myself. Again, it's all in the small details, right?

FINISH & CARE:
​The natural Zebrawood is hand finished and pretreated with tung oils. The Cora is splash-proof but should not be submerged in water (3 ATM).

Lemon or orange oil extract is best for cleaning the natural wood. When storing this timepiece, avoid extremely hot, cold, and excessively dry/humid environments.

Overall, I am very impressed with my Cora Zebrawood & Turquoise Watch from Jord. I have worn this watch for both work and play, and have found it to be very comfortable to wear. Please note: Jord watches are designed to be splash-proof, but they are not waterproof by any means. So I usually take this off to shower or do dishes. I have not had any issues going outdoors wearing this watch, even in inclement weather. It has even held up well and kept perfect time in the horrid "Arctic Blast" we've been experiencing this past week.
