As the busy mom of 3, I know a thing or two about stress. It probably doesn't help that I also suffer from anxiety. It seems I am always worried about something, whether it's what to make for dinner, how my son is being treated by ignorant kids at school, or what the sticky substance on the coffee table might be. I think it's safe to say that I spend a good amount of my time stressed-out about something. 

Having GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder) can be tough. At times, it can be downright crippling, to be completely honest. However, having grown up around seeing the harm that prescription drugs can do to a family, I refuse to medicate. There are other ways to help keep stress under control that are safer, natural, and just as effective, in my opinion. Of course, I'm not a doctor, I am just telling what I feel is best for MY life. Anyway, one of my favorite ways to help destress is to drink some delicious, organic herbal tea. Mother Nature offers some wonderful herbs with soothing properties, so why not enjoy them?
