My husband and I are raising our family in my little hometown in NE Ohio, just south of Cleveland. We really don't have much family around to speak of, so we try and compensate by giving our kids the greatest childhood experiences ever. This means we're always on the go, and always looking for fun to be had and memories to be made. 

One thing I absolutely love about living in NE Ohio is the fact that there's a ton of things to do for families. We have some amazing zoos, the Cleveland Metroparks and Cuyahoga Valley National Park, great museums and restaurants, the beautiful shores of Lake Erie, and of course, we have the coveted Cedar Point, America's Roller Coast. 

We have the new Gold Passes to Cedar Point, so we have been going a LOT lately. These passes are good for the rest of this year and all of the 2020 season, and we're definitely making sure we get our money's worth and enjoy these passes to the fullest. 

One dilemma I've found while visiting Cedar Point frequently is making sure I don't look like a wretched hag by the end of the visit. Between sweat, heat, water from various wet attractions, and just plain old fatigue, it's not always easy to look as good coming out of the park as I did going in.

​One area that always seems to suffer are my lashes. Usually, I'd skip my favorite falsies and use waterproof mascara, and hope for the best. I mean, while I LOVE the look of false lashes and wear them often, I have never been able to trust that the sheer force of the rides at Cedar Point wouldn't rip them right off. 

Until now....You see, the folks at Moitié Cosmetics have a better, longer lasting lash solution for those who want the look of lash extensions/false lashes, but prefer to apply in the comfort of their own homes. 

Moitié Cosmetics 10 Day Lash Kits are a great alternative to lash extensions, and can be applied at home. They come with everything needed for gorgeous, lush, long lasting lashes that are meant to outlast your daily activities, including sleep, showers and swimming, and even any adventures you may embark on. 

These kits come with lash segments so you can create your own custom look, foaming lash wash, super strong lash adhesive, lash remover, under-eye pads, lash brushes, and more. There's everything you need to have full, fluffy lashes that last at least 10 days when applied correctly. 

Speaking of applying your Moitié Cosmetics lashes....

Please take care to read and follow the instructions carefully. This is VERY important. When dealing with professional grade adhesives, confidence and a steady hand are key. ​ If you don't feel comfortable applying for any reason, do not pass GO....Return your lashes to Moitié Cosmetics if you don't feel confident applying these. 

I will admit, these were a little tricky to get the hang of, since I'm not used to dealing with lash segments. I typically use false lashes that are on one longer strip. Also, these glue directly to your lashes themselves rather than your lids, which allows for a more natural, seamless appearance. This is different than my usual lash routine, so I made sure to take extreme care during the application process. It honestly wasn't that bad, although the under-eye pads took some adjusting to at first. I had these on within 10 minutes, and that was while going slowly and practicing extreme caution and care. Overall, it was a quick, easy process. 

Next, it was time to see how these babies held up at the greatest amusement park on the planet, Cedar Point. This NE Ohio gem has tons of coasters and thrill rides, as well as a fairly constant breeze from Lake Erie. What better place to test the staying power of these lashes?! 

Check out our photos from various points in the day, including after getting wet. As you can see, my lashes remained full, fluffy, and completely intact. I was actually very impressed considering the force behind some of these coasters! 

Here I am, at the end of a long day of riding thrill rides and plummeting down hills at warp speed.

Yep. My lashes survived. Not only did they survive, they thrived. 

I am honestly surprised and delighted. This wasn't the result I thought I'd get. 

I expected to lose some, or at least have them peel back some. This did not happen at all,  and my lashes looked just as good at the end of our trip as they did when I applied them. In fact, they're STILL going strong a couple days later. 

Overall, I am beyond pleased with my 10 Day Lash Kit from Moitié Cosmetics. They were a little tricky to apply since the process is different than that used for falsies, but if you take your time and follow the instructions carefully, you'll end up with positively beautiful lashes that last 10 days.

​My only complaint? I wish my kit came with more lashes! Moitié Cosmetics definitely made a fan out of this girl. Any lashes that can beat Cedar Point deserve an A++ in my book!
