What A Wonderful Surprise! I Got A Visit From The Fairy Hobmother...You Can Too!

So apparently good things really DO come in 3's. Okay, in this case, 6's! Lately a lot of wonderful things have been happening...

First, I am excited to get pampered with fine dining, salon and spa services, and check out the Step2 headquarters soon. They had a blogging competition last year, and the top 10 got this amazing trip! (I was number 2!) This really isn't a trip for me, so to speak, since I am local...But it will still be an amazing time!

Next, I was invited to sunny LA by the generous folks at Marvel and Disney to attend the Iron Man 3 red carpet premiere! Yes, I will be hob-nobbing with the likes of Robert Downey, Jr. at the world famous El Capitan Theater! Yes, I get to walk the red carpet, too! (Pinch me!) Not to mention, I will be reuniting with some wonderful bloggy buddies.

We also just got a visit from my husband's father, step-mom, and little brother. They came up from Maryland and spent last weekend with us. It was so great to see them, and we had a lot of fun just talking, hanging out, and eating...Can't wait to see them again, hopefully very soon!

If that wasn't great enough, my 13 year old, Kyle, made the A/B Honor Roll! This is huge for him, since he was struggling in school a lot in the past due to bullying. Moving to Ohio was the best possible thing for him since now he's no longer bullied and he's thriving, both socially and academically. We're taking him out to a surprise dinner this evening to celebrate his accomplishments. We're so proud!

My 5 year wedding anniversary was yesterday. My husband surprised me with a series of great date nights, one date for every year of marriage, to be exact. How cool is that?! I love this man, and am so grateful to be married to my best friend and perfect match in every way. He's wonderful to me, and he's the best Daddy ever!

And last but certainly not least, I just got a visit from the Fairy Hobmother!
