Weight Loss Resolutions? Try the Ozeri Precision Pro II Digital Bathroom Scale! GIVEAWAY! 3 WINNERS! 2/1
Phew...The Holidays are finally over. I don't know about you, but I always find this time of year incredibly stressful, especially when it comes to staying on track while dieting and trying to lose weight. With all of the yummy Holiday treats like cookies, candy, pies, and other high-calorie, full-fat dishes, it's easy to fall off of the dieting wagon. Unfortunately, for many this means weight gain. I think I personally gained about 5lbs between Thanksgiving and New Year's, despite my best attempts to "behave." I blame my Grandma's yummy cooking and my hubby's families smorgasbord of treats...Too much temptation there, and it was a bit hard to resist.
Despite my occasional dietary slips, I am happy that it's a new year, which gives me a great opportunity to get back on track. I have never been happy with my weight, and spent the vast majority of my teen and adult life overweight, at around a size 14-16. After having 2 babies in the past 2 years, I have gotten serious about losing the weight, once and for all. I am now at a much healthier weight of about 130lbs and I am a size 6. However, I would like to lose about 15 more pounds before summer. I have never worn a bikini, and I'd love to be able to without feeling self-conscious about my body.
One important tool for effective weight loss is a good bathroom scale to help track progress. Now I will admit, the scale and I have a total love/hate relationship. But I have found it necessary to make peace with the scale and use it as intended: To keep me on track and show me how far I have come. I was in desperate need of a new one, since I have been using the same sad old scale for about a decade. Who knows if that old monstrosity is even accurate anymore!? Personally, I doubt it!
Recently I received an awesome bathroom scale from Ozeri, the Precision Pro II Digital Bathroom Scale. This is so much nicer than my old scale! I love the appearance, which is a sleek, modern black. The scale is also very durable and made of impact resistant, tempered glass that can support up to 440lbs! This is a much higher weight capacity than many scales on the market! It is also extremely precise, as it measures in .2lb increments. In addition to being able to hold much more weight than the average scale, it also has an oversized platform. This is nice because it allows you to stand comfortably on the scale without feeling cramped. I hate tiny little scales that I feel like I am teetering on!
The Precision Pro II Digital Bathroom Scale also features a bright blue backlit display, which is super convenient for easy to read, immediate weigh-ins at any time of the day or night. This scale is powered by 2 AAA batteries. There is a battery life indicator to alert you to when you'll need to switch them. The batteries last quite a long time, though, since this scale will automatically turn off after use to conserve battery life.
You know how many scales require you to do a "toe tap" to turn it on? Well, with this scale, that's not required. I actually tried the toe-tapping initially, out of habit, and then quickly laughed at myself for doing so. Old habits die hard, I suppose! With the Ozeri Precision Pro II Digital Bathroom Scale's InstOn Technology, the scale captures the precise weight measurements upon contact. So all you need to do is step on, and Viola! There's your reading. This is much like the scale I used at my OBGYN while I was pregnant with my babies.

While I may not be happy with the number on the scale, I do love the performance of the Ozeri Precision Pro II Digital Bathroom Scale. It's extremely user-friendly, easy to use, and very accurate. I will admit it: I even used it after using the restroom just to see if it would register a change. It did, although it wasn't a significant amount of weight loss. I also love the durability of this scale. Even if it were dropped, it would not shatter since it's made from strong, impact resistant tempered glass. Other great pluses are the automatic turn-off to save battery life, the InstOn technology, and rapid response time that rivals even a doctor's office scale. Add to that the fact that it's got a sleek, modern design and a bright, attractively lit display, and you've got a winning product that will fit seamlessly into any decor. I am loving the Ozeri Precision Pro II Digital Bathroom Scale, and I know it will help me get my weight loss efforts back on track after an indulgent Holiday season. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants a precise, high-quality bathroom scale.
