I usually gravitate towards fruity blends, and I love green tea for it's health benefits. (Some studies have shown it is good for energy and weight loss.) Green tea has been around since ancient times, 5000 years to be exact! While it's origins come from China and Japan, this tea has become increasingly popular here in the United States. It is a true tea, which is minimally oxidized during processing. It's also a very mild-flavored tea, so it blends well with a wide variety of flavor profiles like fruits, flowers, and herbs. Recently, I got the opportunity to sample some of the organic green tea from Tea District. I chose the Organic Wildberry Green Tea because it sounded simply heavenly! Tea District carries several varieties of green tea blends, both loose as well as bagged. In addition to green teas, Tea District carries many other teas, such as black, Yerba Mate, Herbal teas, Rooibos, and many other specialty blends. There really is something for everyone! About Tea District : Tea District began in 2005, when a young, restless, and courageous entrepreneur decided it was time to take the bull by the horns and start what would be the beginning of a long journey. A fun journey. And a dream come true. It was her chance to create a brand that will be known worldwide for its sophisticated, premium teas and the dynamic accessories that help create a relaxing evening, comforting work day, and healthy life. Tea District created a brand and launched TeaDistrict.com, to allow customers to shop beyond the coffee and tea shop and retail stores, offering an assortment of teas and accessories to go with them. TeaDistrict.com continues to grow and add additional blends of tea daily. Our thoughts : We really enjoyed the Organic Wildberry Green Tea. This came packaged in a pretty canister, and contains 15 biodegradable silk sachets. (Yes, I said silk! These are not your typical tea bags!) The tea blend itself contains organic sencha, hibiscus, strawberries, and blueberries, giving it a delicate, fruity, and complex flavor profile. This premium tea is sweet, but not overwhelmingly so, and is perfect either hot or chilled. It's even loaded with antioxidants! I would definitely recommend Tea District to anyone who loves a nice cup of tea. Sure, you'll find your go-to favorites, but there are also many exotic and adventurous blends, so be sure to try them out and expand your palate! These gourmet teas are sure to awaken your senses and your spirit! How to Connect : You can check out the awesomeness that is Tea District on their website.
You can also connect with them on Facebook and on twitter to stay on top of their latest products and promotions!

I'm not a big tea drinker. Unless it's iced. Some of these sound like they'd make a good iced tea.
