![]() As a parent, there are already so many things I need to worry about on a daily basis when it comes to my kids. Are they too warm? Too cold, perhaps? Is that blanket too scratchy? Wait...He sneezed! Is a cold inevitable? Do I need to break out my arsenal of anti-bacterial sprays and wipes and treat the entire home, dog included, to keep the impending bug from spreading? Are they happy? Sad? Oh no, they're fighting over that toy again! And the list goes on and on and on.... Another thing I need to worry about as a parent is the addition of GMO's in my children's food and drinks. What's a GMO? Don't worry. Most people don't know what GMO's are. As a matter of fact, I didn't know wither until I was pregnant with my Sophie and researching ways to be a little bit "greener" in my home. GMO's are plants, animals, or microorganisms whose DNA has been modified using non-traditional methods. The use of GMO's is becoming increasingly common, from cows that are given hormones to produce more milk to chickens (or other animals) that are "fattened up" for more meat or eggs. The chickens have the eggs, not the other animals, obviously! Crops like fruits and veggies are also affected by the use of GMO's as farmers use them as a method of producing bigger, higher yielding crops. The use of GMO's is bad, since when we consume these products, these additives enter our bodies, too. I don't know about you, but kids grow quickly enough without "help" from GMO's, and I don't want these substances in their bodies if I can help it! Luckily, the folks at Earth's Best Organic agree. They believe that babies and toddlers deserve only the purest foods that nature has to offer. That's why they are committed to providing families with high-quality, organic foods that are completely free of GMO's. When I choose Earth's Best for my kids, I don't have to worry about the potentially harmful "extras" that may be sneaking into their bodies by way of their food. Earth's Best foods are completely natural and certified organic, which means there are no added hormones, chemicals or preservatives. All my babies consume is pure, natural food, just as nature intended. I can feel good about that!
