It's no secret that having a new baby means needing a whole lot of gear. After all, infants cannot use many of the products adults and big kids use. Can you imagine a tiny baby driving a car? Or maybe sitting on an adult sized potty with no modifications? Yep. Babies need products all their own to make life easier and keep them safe during every age and stage of development.

Unfortunately, many of these must-have baby products also come with a hefty price tag. (Have you seen the prices of car seats, play yards, and other baby must-haves lately? Yikes!) Parents spend hundreds of dollars on things that their little ones will outgrow in the blink of an eye. Does that seem ridiculous to anyone other than me?

What if I told you that I just discovered a gorgeous baby high chair that will actually grow with your child, all the way from infancy to adulthood? Does that sound too good to be true?

Well, the folks at Abiie have made it happen. The Abiie Beyond Junior Y High Chair offers baby a comfortable, secure place to learn how to eat solid foods, but it also doubles as a cozy chair for older kids and even adults!
Here are some quick details about the Abiie Beyond Junior Y High Chair:
  • EZ-Seat 20 Second enables quick adjustment of the seat and foot rest. This is done in less than 20 seconds!
  • Features both 3 and 5 point harness systems to help keep your child safe and secure.
  • One hand removable tray cover is convenient and dishwasher friendly.
  • Waterproof cushion stays dry and clean with a quick wipe.
  • Anti-Microbial Heat Sterilization ensures a safe, hygienic environment for your child.
  • Made from eco-friendly, sustainable cultivated Beech wood to help keep forests healthy.
  • Meets rigorous safety standards and is free of potentially harmful substances such as BPA, Pthalates, and PVC.
  • Generous 3 Year Warranty that can be extended to up to 6 years for a very low cost.

We received the Abiie Beyond Y High Chair to check out for ourselves. It arrived quickly, and was very well packaged. We received the very attractive and beautifully gender-neutral Natural with Olive Cushions. The wood is very durable, and so are the waterproof cushions.

The Beyond Y is a cinch to assemble, too! My husband, who is the honorary assembler of the house, had this ready to go in just a few short minutes. The instructions are very simple and easy to understand. That's always a huge plus, don't you agree?

Since my kids are a bit past the infant stage, I have enlisted my favorite Jedi Master to help illustrate how a baby or toddler would fit into this seat. Yoda is actually right about the same size as a 6 or 9 month old infant, and he's easy to buckle in. Yep, he always makes a wonderful assistant when it comes to baby products! (No worries, I am featuring a real child in this post, too!)
Here is Yoda, strapped into the Beyond Y. This is on a taller, infant setting. As you can see, this chair offers a removable tray. The best part is the removable plastic tray cover. You don't have to use this part, but it truly makes clean-up a breeze and keeps messes off of that gorgeous Beech wood. This cover can be applied and removed with one hand, and is completely dishwasher safe.
As your child grows, so does the Beyond Y High Chair. Adjusting the chair to meet your growing child's needs is super-simple, and can be done in mere seconds. As you can see, there are deep-set notches that the cushion fits into. These allow for various height positions. Since these notches are deep and quite pronounced, the cushions fit in very securely. You will never have to worry about a wobbly or unsecure seat!

Okay, I promised a real, living breathing child, and here she is! Here's my 5 year old, Sophie, sitting in the Beyond Y. We have her buckled in, and the tray is in place. Even though she's significantly larger than an infant, she still has plenty of room to comfortably eat, play, read, etc. She is not at all cramped in this seat, which is pretty amazing, considering she's outgrown every other high chair we've used.
Picture
Of course the tray and straps are completely removable, which takes this chair from an infant or toddler chair to one that even adults can use. This seat is actually quite comfortable, and makes a wonderful place to read a book or the morning paper, no matter how grown up you might be!

Overall, we're definitely beyond impressed with the Abiie Beyond Y High Chair. This is not only a very attractive piece of furniture, it's also a fantastic value. Since this high chair grows with your child, you won't need to pack it away once your baby isn't a baby anymore. This chair is bound to get tons and tons of use for many years to come. This is definitely a worthwhile investment for any new or expecting parents out there. This is basically the Lamborghini of high chairs. We're loving the durability, versatility, and safety that the Beyond Y offers. I think you'll love it, too!

I can still remember even at the age gf 4 years old At home I was allways put by my mother in a high chair with a white leather harness, and as I was quite small for my age I was put in it with the harness utill I went to school ,that is 7 years old !and my head was allways shaved aswell thanks to my mother ,so I had to wear a cap all day long too!But that was far from being the end ! Because to go out in the yard or in the streets I wore another blue leather harness and that one lasted until I went to primary school up till I was 8!Plus there I had to wear a cap , plus short trousers with buttoned leather end braces to it too !I also received regularly too harsh belt beatings too by my mother with a belt that was allways hung on a hook on the bathroom door ,but as it was hanged high up on the door I never managed to reach itMy mother was for giving me good leather belt beatings too It was a very large man's belt for working and very long too ! A matter of fact she had to pleat it in two and then lowering my braces and trousers ,she gave me a good belt beting on my bare ass ,and the it was 30mn in the corner of the bathroom with my hands on my head,Plus I had two other sisters older than me ,that tip tailed me off everytime I did sometthing wrong so there again I got belted whilst my sisters took fun at me So as you can se I was really disciplined at my age by my mother!
