***Disclosure: I received complimentary samples to facilitate my review. No other compensation was provided, and all opinions are 100% honest and have not been influenced in any way.*** As many of you are already painfully aware, cold and flu season is here. It seems any time I look at my Facebook notifications, more and more people are getting sick. Thankfully, aside from my gall-bladder trying to kill me, I haven't been stricken with illness yet this year. I think part of the reason I have escaped the "sickies" is because I take supplements every day that offer immune support. One of my favorites? Vitamin C! (Please note: Vitamin C supplements do not treat, cure, or prevent illness. They simply support a healthy immune system.) If you're interested in having a healthy Holiday season and beyond and are curious about the benefits of Vitamin C supplements, Superior Source is having a great BOGO sale right now! If you buy a bottle of their Vitamin C Melts, you will get a 2nd bottle, completely free of charge! Superior Source Vitamin C Melts are an easy, painless way to make sure your family gets their Vitamin C. They come in 2 great flavors, Sour Cherry and Tangy Orange. These supplements are sugar-free, preservative-free, and contain absolutely no artificial sweeteners. These are also ideal for those who do not like swallowing pills. My husband and teenager have the the hardest time swallowing even the smallest of pills, even with a glass of water. These Vitamin C Melts dissolve immediately in your mouth, and have fun, tangy fruit flavors! They're a little too sour for my personal taste, but the rest of my family absolutely loves them. Overall, I would definitely recommend Superior Source Vitamin C Melts as we make our way through cold and flu season. While they won't cure or prevent any illness, they can offer your family immune support before sickness strikes. Better safe than sorry, right? How to Connect : You can check out Superior Source on their website. You can purchase all Superior Source Vitamins at major retailers nationwide like Whole Foods and Vitamin Shoppe and major online retailers like Swansons, iHerb, Walgreens, Vitacost and Lucky Vitamins. Remember, they're having a great BOGO sale right now! You can take advantage of this offer on their Facebook Page or through theirEtailers! You can also connect with Superior Source on Facebook and on twitter to stay on top of their latest products and promotions! Enter to WIN : I am thrilled to announce that 2 lucky readers will each receive a WHOLE YEAR'S SUPPLY of Superior Source Vitamin C Melts! How cool is that?!

I am not sure, it's rare when I get sick, actually. I think it's because I don't obsess over being clean, like using stuff with triclosan and hand sanitizers. It's been around 15 years since I've gotten sick.

Echinacea tea is great! Also avoiding sugar and starch, taking naps when possible, drinking extra water, and not overdoing it with the running around and doing activities outside the home. Lots of onions and garlic in our food can't hurt either.

We use fermented cod liver oil, vitamin c, and magnesium daily to boost immune system and when anyone starts getting a cold or sore throat I make this get well "tea" of 1/2 c. hot water, 2 tbl lemon juice, 2 tlb apple cider vinegar, and 2 tbl of raw honey. Works within hours!
