Stop Changing and Start Dressing With Huggies Little Mover Slip-On Diapers #FirstFit #MC #Sponsored4/13/2014 ***Disclosure: I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Huggies. I received product samples to facilitate my review and to thank me for my participation.*** My 3 year old son, Xander, is probably the most difficult child in the world when it comes to potty-training. We encourage him to go on his big boy potty every single day. Every. Single. Day. Yet the boy refuses. At the point, we're losing our minds. And Xander is still in diapers. For now. He has to be ready to potty-train eventually, right? Since potty-training isn't going too well with my stubborn little guy, I decided to make the transition from diapers to potty a little easier and more fluid for him. Rather than buying traditional diapers or breaking out the cloth that he now refuses to wear, we've been buying Huggies Little Movers Slip-On Diapers. Maybe if we start dressing him and having him step into his diapers like he would with real underwear, he will stop resisting taking the leap from diaper to potty. Now before I go any further, these are not to be confused with Pull-Ups. These do pull on and off just like training pants do, but offer the absorbency and protection of a diaper. The diaper has absorbent Leak Lock Protection and multiple layers and long lasting core. These help to seal in wetness and keep baby's skin dry. Huggies Slip-On Diapers offer a trim, underwear like fit, too. These diapers are also super soft and almost cloth like in feel. They don't require fastening because the legs offer plenty of stretch, but do feature easy open side tabs for when things get messy and pulling them down is not an option. Xander blowouts are typically pretty epic, so I definitely appreciate the fact that I can open the diaper from the sides. I know looks don't matter much when it comes to a diaper's performance, but I also wanted to point out that these diapers come in gender neutral colors and feature Mickey Mouse on them. There are also labels to show which side is the front and which is the back. Things are going well so far with our Huggies Little Movers Slip-On Diapers. Xander loves Mickey Mouse, and he seems to also like how comfortable and easy to put on they are. He doesn't have to lay down to be changed unless he pooped, and it makes dressing him go more smoothly. These diapers also allow him to feel a sense of independence because he can help put them on himself. This isn't something he was able to easily do with traditionally designed diapers. Here's a photo of Xander wearing his Huggies Little Movers Slip-On Diapers. He got mad when I pulled the camera out so he's hiding his face. (What he REALLY wanted was to put some clean clothes on and go play outside again. This was taken during a play break that he was none too happy about!) As you can see, these diapers are not at all bulky and offer a great trim fit. Overall, I am definitely a fan of Huggies Little Movers Slip-On Diapers. I am still sad that Xander is now refusing to wear cloth at all, but these seem to make him happy and they do a great job containing messes. I also love the fact that they're more like regular undies and can act as a great tool for children transitioning from diaper to potty. If you're looking for a good slip-on style diaper, definitely check them out!
