Hello, Old Man Winter! Here in Ohio, we are literally drowning in snow. Okay....Not literally. But we have gotten about 16" of the white stuff over the past 48 hours. Now that is a lot of snow in a short period of time, don't you agree?
Of course the snow doesn't slow us down much here in the Cleveland area. We just make sure we have sturdy shovels and snowblowers, and go about our day. And many of us, my family included, like to take advantage of a good snow storm and head outside to play. We build snowmen., go sledding, and of course, we have some epic snowball battles.
Whether you venture out into the cold for work or play, staying warm is super important. I get cold very easily, and it seems that once I feel that initial chill in my bones, I will be freezing all day long, no matter what I do. So when I head outside, I make sure I have warm layers of clothing, a good coat, gloves, and of course, winter boots that will keep my toes from turning into little ice cubes. It seems that as long as my feet are warm and dry, I am fine. Once my feet get cold, I'm done. You will them find me shivering, wrapped in blankets.
Speaking of good winter boots, have you checked out the Women's Tambora Boots from Lugz? I received a pair of these babies in their gorgeous Red Brown/Black color, and I was immediately in love with them. Not only are they adorable, they're also incredibly warm, and can help keep your feet warm and dry, even when nature unleashes its fury.
The Lugz Tambora boots are stylish and functional. They are made from a high-quality, permahide upper, and also offer an adjustable, fold-down collar. You can make them taller or shorter, simply by folding the collar down. You get two great looks for winter in one fabulous boot!
These boots also feature a rubber toe cap and heel, which definitely help to keep moisture away from your feet. No one likes cold, wet feet, after all!
The soles are very sturdy, and offer a great deal of traction. This is so important during the winter months when slick conditions become the norm. (Like here in the Cleveland, OH area. We get some insane winter weather here!)
But the best part? The soft, velvety acrylic fur lining. This warm lining extends all the way into the boot, which adds both comfort and warmth. I absolutely love the way these boots feel, and they are so amazingly comfortable, even for everyday wear.
I have been rocking these boots everywhere lately. Whether I am heading to the grocery store or taking the kiddos out to play in the snow, my Lugz Tambora boots keep me warm and dry. Plus, they look good while doing so. I always get loads of compliments on these boots, wherever I happen to go.
Overall, I am definitely head over heels in love with my Tambora boots from Lugz. (Get it? Head over HEELS? Cheesy shoe pun! Okay, I won't quit my day job.) They are incredibly well made, super-cozy, and yes, they look pretty darn good, too. I personally couldn't ask for more in a winter boot. That says a lot, since I live in the Ohio Snow Belt!
If you haven't checked out what Lugz has to offer, I highly recommend doing so. They offer plenty of amazing shoes and boots for the whole family, kids included! They also have some great sales on a fairly regular basis, so be sure to check back often to score some huge savings!
