***Disclosure: Arc Entertainment, or that Arc Entertainment supplied these materials to me. All opinions are my own and have not been influenced in any way.*** Bullying is something I feel very strongly about. My own child was relentlessly bullied and terrorized from Kindergarten all the way through the end of 6th grade. He was depressed, afraid to leave the house and go to school, and had very low self-esteem. This all changed when we left Virginia and moved to Ohio. Thankfully, things have turned around for him. He has tons of friends, is able to express himself, and is a happy rising 8th grader. Based on one of the most beloved Young Adult novels of all time and directed by the acclaimed D.J. Caruso, Standing Up follows two kids who get bullied by a vicious summer camp prank. Left together on an island, their adventure begins once they decide not to be victims and instead they Stand Up! Standing Up is an adorable and heart-warming gem of a movie with an important anti-bullying message that’s suitable for the whole family! Get the DVD August 20! What can be done to help the bullied “stand up” for themselves? One of the best things we can do to understand the problem and discuss solutions is to be inspired. I was unable to take the quiz so I am leaving a comment per instructions. I have had a lot of experience with bullies women are the worst and once you're out of school then you have to put up with them at work.

It was really rough for me growing up. We were poor and I was overweight and the combo led to a lot of cruelty.

Bullies can be all shapes and sizes. Until you let them know your not going to be pushed around they will continue to do it.
