![]() As many of you know, a couple of weeks ago we welcomed an adorable little Yorkie puppy into our family. She's a spitfire, very playful, and fits right into our home. We named her Trouble, because well...It just seems to fit her mischievous personality! While she may be a new member of our family, I am already head over heels in love with her. For one, I am not allergic to her. This is a MAJOR plus, considering I am highly allergic to almost all animals. Sadly, that means my kids will never have a big dog or a cat. Which is fine with me, as I am not a fan of either! Ilike small dogs better! They're adorable, eat less, and let's face it: Smaller dogs mean smaller poop. It's a fact. Also, Trouble is an absolute sweetheart, and loves to snuggle up in my lap. She's a little cuddle-bug and can brighten up even the most stressful of days. But what makes her truly awesome is how good she is with my kids. She loves playing with my toddlers and my preteen, and she can even wear them out! With my brood, my daughter especially, this is no easy task! I think it's safe to say that Trouble will be one spoiled little pup. She already has a whole arsenal of toys, and tons of doggy treats. One of her favorites are the new Cesar Cookie Crunchies. These snacks come in 2 crave-worthy flavors, Rotisserie Chicken and Filet Mignon that will keep your canine companion coming back for more. These crunchy snacks are also perfectly sized for small breed dogs! They're small, and come in whimsical shapes such as paw prints, hearts, and even a mini dog bone. They're almost too cute to eat! I am sure that Trouble completely disagrees with me there, though. She would gobble these up all day long if I let her! Smaller dogs are at an increased risk for becoming obese. They tend to gain weight quickly and easily. This can be very bad for a dog's overall wellness and health. I love that Cesar products, including the Cookie Crunchies, take this important fact into consideration. Cookie Crunchies are only 10 calories per treat, which is a great number for small breed dogs. After all, these are treats, not entrees. (Although Cesar has some fantastic entree options as well!) Take a look at these adorable, tasty treats! Trouble sure does love them, and I am confident your pampered pooch will, too! Having my new puppy in my life has given me lots of joy. Sure, there have been hiccups along the way as we try and teach her all of her proper doggy manners, but overall, she's a pleasure and I look forward to many years with Trouble by my side. She will be a constant companion and will grow with my children, and this is something I know they will cherish about their childhood. When days are rough, there will be doggy kisses. When it's too rainy or cold to play outside, they'll have a willing indoor playmate. When they need pure, unconditional love, they will find it in a tiny, furry little face. For everything my puppy Trouble gives, and will continue to give for many years, I want to give her only the best. That is why I choose Cesar treats for small dogs. After all, my pampered princess deserves only the best!
